It is for food safety reasons.

Due to a stringent supply chain, if you eat at my restaurant you can have your burger mid-rare if you ask for it. No matter how much you beg, can’t be rare though.

I will never haver a burger anywhere they have too cook it through.

I have had to unblock many a toilet over the years (running bars/restaurants,) usually nowt a few jabs with a mop can’t fix.

Most fun the ladies have left would be smashing a wine glass in the toilet bowl then curling one out on top of it.

The gents would be the time a guy pulled the bowl away from the wall before dropping the kids off and then left the seat up.Cue me coming along and pressing the flush thus emptying the cistern over floor.

    I love my job sometimes

The last thing I do before I leave for work is put his food down. He always seems to favour food over freedom.

Eggs royale and a black americano.

Should make me feel better when I’m having my beef burger, medium, with smoked streaky bacon and Monterrey Jack for dinner

I won’t bother explaining why, just tell her from me that she is wrong.

    Definitely wrong.

My little guy had his balls lopped off yesterday so I look forward to the day he forgives me and brings me his catch.

He’s not too happy, so could be a while.

All I’ve gotten from that is lawn envy.

I’m off out back to attempt to repair the barren wasteland where the garden should be.

You should be more concerned about the point in time where you have to make the choice.

Close your bedroom door at night and have it rip up the carpet outside the door, or leave the door open and wake up to it attacking your feet.

I got custody of him when I split up with the missus. He’s having the snip next week so hopefully that calms him down before I end up barbequing the little bastard.

Only on here do you get time wasters posting for sale ads and not being arsed posting photos.

If you can’t be bothered to write a proper ad, how can people believe you can be bothered looking after your kit?

    Yes OP, I mean you.

Is his job title the same? If so, no 3 month trial period as he had that when he first started doing that job.

I would tell them where to go and get a job elsewhere.

I love Penmachno, especially when its wet and warm so is really overgrown. If you didn’t enjoy it then you weren’t going fast enough.

    West end are still awful.

The lads at Evolution are fantastic, got my last full build from them when I worked a few doors down and they never seemed to mind when I had a skive from work just to look at/talk about bikes

I stopped getting stressed so much when I realised I’m getting old. The odd thing does get me going though.

Such as when people leave the lid of a highlighter.

Or put a key back in the (numbered and labelled,) keybox in the wrong place.

    I am normal right?

As much as it pains me, as a last resort try West End cycles in Llandudno Junction. If you’re visiting Conwy anyway its just down the road

The one you link to is correct. Bb90 is with the sleeve & spacers, bb95 is just the bearings.

Had the same problem with leisure lakes even though I told them I was certain the one they were trying to sell me was wrong.

No beer in your fridge and no meat on your pizza, very sad indeed.

You could get someone to do a film of you, a la Oxfam, ‘Just £3 a month etc etc….’

    I see 2 options.

    1) fight back and open a constructive dismissal case. I know there are now fees involves for tribunal claims which has seen a massive decline in cases, so ensure you document EVERYTHING to give you have the best chance of success.

    2) get the hell out of there, cut all ties and live your life.

If she has returned to her previous role, ie same job title/description, there is no probationary period – she already had that when she first took that position.

As far as the management meeting is concerned, if this is the entire management team then it is a reasonable request and you should endeavour to accommodate it. If you definitely can’t then they have to show compassion.

For what it is worth, I have been in hospitality for 12 years with companies big and small, where front line management haven’t a clue about HR. My last job we had a management meeting every Monday at 3pm, so someone would have to come in on their day off and sometimes we wouldn’t have full attendance due to prior commitments. There was always cake, so no-one minded.

Some dodgy deal between garage and dealer seems likely then.

I trust the mileage as the bloody thing costs a fortune to run, so will speak to the garage in the week. Will chuck enough oil to be safe for the time being.

    Cheers

Agreement on purchase was service, 12 month mot and 4 new tyres (sidewalls perished and on previous mot,) when I purchased it. Brought from a dealer, service etc done at local garage so I trusted them. Car has done 500 miles or so since I bought it. Only done 46k.

A constructive conversation will ensue on Tuesday. Can’t fathom a leak anywhere as the weeds on the drive have no sign of oil.

See if they have Williams Chase on offer. We got some at £18 from Tesco, down from £44.
Really, really the best gin I’ve ever had. They make their own cider, to make their own vodka to make their own gin. It’s crisp, dry and oh so good.

Started out making Tyrells crisps, then the potato vodka, then the rest.

Chase marmalade vodka with tonic and fresh orange is brilliant.

Whitley Neill, without question. Trust me.

After that, Plymouth and Tanqueray. Gordon’s is awful stuff, simply well marketed garbage much like Smirnoff.

For reference, £18k is not a well paid job – not much more than minimum wage (for over 21s)

I got nowt more than gcses, and earning good money + bonus because I fell into something I was bloody good at and had passion for. That’s the key.

Just remember, every day is a school day. No matter what you do, aim to finish each day knowing something you didn’t when you woke up.

I’ve got a Fat Albert front triple nano 2.4″ folding that I used for 2 short rides so in excellent condition. I’m in the process of sorting a ‘broken home fire sale,’ so need to shift loads of stuff. Happy to post it for £10 if you fancy.
