Amazon £6-£8. Quality can vary of course.

I work in a kitchen so gloves need to be blue, as do plasters, rather than blue being ‘food grade’ particularly.

I ran a bar there many years ago. Had a great time but when the company asked if I fancied moving to Llandudno I was out of there like a shot.

Eagles meadow was about to open and that completely killed the town centre. Remember going to some horrendous pubs – walked into one and a lass was properly punching a guy in the face over a game of pool.

Was a great base for riding though so take the job and live somewhere that isn’t Wrexham.

Our toddler has both the pea and red lentil pastas from Waitrose because her mother insists that them being so much healthier is worth the horrendous expenditure.

I like neither the flavour nor the texture but the little one loves them. About 1/3 of the carbs of normal pasta, low in fat, high in protein, gluten free, apparently counts as 1 portion of veg. She doesn’t care about any of that though, she likes it because it’s normally covered in Bolognese

Did mine at the post office one Thursday lunchtime in October, text me Friday morning saying it was on the way, got home from work on the Monday and it was already waiting for me.

May be quicker generally doing it that way?

I’ve used Questor many times over the years as they worked out cheap but (un)fortunately i’ve never had to claim

I did mine at the post office at 1pm on Thursday, got a message on the Friday saying it was done and on the way, got home from work on Monday and it had already arrived.

I bought a nooie camera that uses an app as it only cost me £20. Some days I’m working 13 hour shifts and missing everything apart from the first feed in the morning and playtime before baby has her first nap. I can check in whilst I’m at work and there is a speaker in the camera so I can talk to her.

We also have a battery powered sound only monitor so she can nap in the pushchair in the garden and we hear wake up and can get there before she starts shouting.

A ‘chip’ you can fill with nail varnish. If you need polyfilla then it’s a ‘big **** hole’

Keep the axle as a spare and put the rest in the bin

I had my 1st Moderna on Monday. Top of my arm feels like someone punched me but all good apart from that.

Just dropped the missus off for her first jab then I’m off to work 12pm-12am leaving her alone with the baby. Hopefully she’s feeling fine after her jab!

One of my lot just left to change career and asked me what to put her resignation.

I told her date at top, tell me you’re leaving and when, put your name at the bottom

Willie’s Cacao range – we get them from Waitrose (I use my topcashback earnings to get gift cards…..) And they’re all excellent.

Trigger thumb, no. Trigger finger in the the 3rd and 4th finger on each hand since May last year, yes.

2 days of using a pneumatic wrench in a factory and I’ve had the trigger finger and carpel tunnel ever since.

The pain & numbness combo makes life interesting. Affects me most first thing in the morning and some days is agony trying open my hands fully.

I finally got a docs appointment 2 weeks ago after having a telephone consult a couple of days prior. He was concerned that it came on so quickly and hasn’t gone away. Referring me to a hand specialist but warned that they’ve not really being doing steroid injections since Covid came about, so I have no idea what the plan is. He warned that waiting times are long but given that nearly a year has passed it should bump me up the queue a bit.

They did text me yesterday saying that it’s time for me to call them to get my 1st Covid vaccine next Wednesday. I can expect that is taking up a massive chunk of their time and resources still

Decent enough sound for the price, use mine mostly when I’m cooking or when I’m hiding in the garage.

That’s all I came to say but now I have a bottle of Bowmore 12 on the way. Cheers!

I turned around to look at mine as it was lifted like the lion king and my face must have been a sight. Ugly as sin. Luckily she got better looking, but unfortunately she’s a massive dickhead like her father

My mmmbop came from CRC back in Feb.

It’s a hefty beast but surprisingly capable uphill aided by 51t rear cassette. All I’ve changed is swapping the rear 2.4 Minion for a 2.6 Barzo for less weight and faster rolling. It’s great fun coming back down.

It’s a winner because it’s 11 speed – too much of the competition seemed to make spec compromises in order to get 12 speed on there

I’ve got a set of Clarks M2 as spares – perfectly functional and no issues.

The M3s however were a sack of shit – the reach adjust on the front was winding itself during use which led to me almost crashing into the side of a van. I sent photos to Bikester and they just refunded me for the set. Seems to be a common fault but there doesn’t seem to be a solution.

If you’re near Malvern I can bring the boys round. Next door said there was always an issue with rats until we moved in and our two cats chased/ate them away.

The younger one is a right dickhead so I can leave him with you for a while to make sure the rat doesn’t come back.

I have a set – third ride out the front started playing up and as I was nearly home (I live down a hill,) braked to turn into my road and the front lever pulled to the bar with no effect. Will be sending them back and fitting the M2s I have in the spares box

I sold an S and bought an X both on Facebook marketplace. Both shown working through the living room window before boxing up, bank transfer, passed out the window.

My first car was a K reg Escort in glorious burgundy, no power steering and a 1.4l petrol engine. I helped a mate move house from Worcester to Sheffield and it used a full tank of fuel. Each way.

Any sign of a hill in the distance and max motorway speed would be 50mph.

At least it only cost me £100

The Witshire chilli farm stuff is good – love the mango, Habanero and Carribbean. They all taste great rather than just being fire.

I had a bottle of Blair’s mega death sauce that I ended up giving away as I couldn’t handle the heat any more.

I’ve got a jar of the Chilli Jam Man’s 3 peaks chilli jam in the cupboard that was out of date in October that I can’t face opening. I bought 2 and the first nearly killed me

I got got shouted at by a bloke up in the hills last week that I was not on a cycle path – just exploring and the path was wide enough to drive a car up so assumed I would be ok. I apologised and went on my way.

So on Sunday I stuck to the signposted MTB trails and the descent at the end of the medium Malvern route (down to ivy scar rock post) was full of people walking up with dogs and little kids. I got plenty of dirty looks for daring to suggest it wasn’t the safest route for walking up.

I’ve not seen a single person riding like an asshat, shame same can’t be said of the idiots not controlling their dogs/kids. A few weeks back I went for a walk with the baby strapped to me and had someone’s Boxer charge me because they didn’t have it on a lead. They just laughed it off.

I had this where I had no hot water unless I put the heating on at the same time. Diverter valve knackered, pretty straightforward job (well, for the plumber the landlord sent round to do it)

I did the same – topcashback got me £3 back from tweeks to spend on a couple of beers to drown my sorrows when it turned out I’d worn the old chain too far and needed to replace everything.

I’m on furlough for the third time as I’m lucky enough to run a pub. Since march last year I’ve put on 9.5kg.

Luckily I had a larger pair of baggies stashed away for about 10 years that might come in handy some day.

My missus said cashew ‘milk’ was most like normal milk in her coffee as creamy texture and quite neutral in taste

Mae ploy Thai green curry paste with coconut milk (don’t forget a spoon of sugar,) shredded spring onion, chilli and coriander. Delicious. Obviously not going to answer the original question but a viable alternative for sure

With my pub shut, it’s my first Valentine’s day off after working the last 14……

I’ve spent 3 lockdowns cooking every day so bollocks am I cooking today. We’ll be having a curry from the local Nepalese place – best curry I’ve had anywhere since I moved away from Nottingham.

Edit: just realised that I’ve worked the last 18. Old as ****

The missus knows I got her a card because she saw it come in the post.

She also knows I put it in a safe place so as per usual I don’t know where it is. She’s a lucky gal

Bikeactive had a break in around the start of first lockdown last year and they stock Nukeproof.

Would they keep hold of them that long before trying to offload?

We ended up with Vodaphone. They have a speed checker on their app which showed that they weren’t providing the minimum guaranteed speed so automatically gave me a discount off the bill each month until they rectify the issue.

They messaged me at one point saying it had been resolved so my discount would end but conveniently (for them,) their speed checker stopped working.

Nothing had changed so complained and discount is continuing no doubt until my contract is up and can switch to someone else.

Our little one is nearly 4 months and very happy and healthy but clearly has a milk protein allergy as had all the symptoms from the off. The missus cut out dairy completely and tried a few different things at various points like yoghurt and goats cheese, all with the same issues. Very grateful to have decent headphones when the baby was screaming uncontrollably.

We couldn’t even get a doctor’s appointment in person just over the phone and they aren’t testing so just told the missus to keep to no dairy if it was working.

I still eat whatever I want so I have to do a bit more cooking but it’s not a problem. I use cow’s milk for me but she has hazelnut/cashew/coconut instead.

Desserts are an issue – she made vegan chocolate brownies yesterday and they tasted like arse. Hopefully tomorrow’s dairy free sticky toffee pudding will be more successful. I know I’m selfish!

Missus has 2 electric breast pumps so only takes 15 mins and we just feed from the bottle as it’s quicker and less stressful.

I bought our latest set from our local Morrisons. 6 big plates, 6 side plates, 4 bowls for £48. We used to have a lovely set of wine glasses and a beautiful set of champagne flutes – now we have a single one of each.

The missus has a tendancy to break stuff so I don’t see the point in having nice things now.

£600 on something to eat your dinner off is lunacy

Terms & conditions of employment (usually in the form of a contract,) are a legal requirement by the 4 week point. Upto 4 weeks employment there is no statutory minimum notice period, i.e. they don’t have to give any notice. They should follow procedure though, you can’t just sit someone down and say you don’t need them anymore.

For the boss to decide to get rid just before the 4 week point shows that he knows exactly what he’s doing and probably isn’t the first time.

Try CAB for advice and don’t forget he will have accrued holiday during that 3.5 week’s work so the legally need to pay that aswell.

I had a test drive in one. It wasn’t particularly comfortable and I felt about 15 years to old to be driving it.

I got a polo GTi instead, much more sensible & grownup but still quick.
