I know i’m getting old & boring but can only see this ending in tears. As an old mate of mine will alway say ” pin a number on & go racing properly”.
    You should have known.

TuckerUK, i know exactly what you mean & have often wondered the same. Although as Junkyard points out the parents didn’t do anything illegal in the eyes of the law, their action or lack of them i suspect, must of contributed to the offenders twisted view of whats right & wrong.

90% on me Jack Jones, mostly i prefer it, too much stopping/fafing around in groups esp large groups. Do tend to get lost in my thoughts sometimes but also have the odd eureka (not Ulreka kaka..) moment as well.
Thats not to say i don’t enjoy group rides.

Liking, Stewart Francis, Shaun Lock, Bill Hicks (when he was still with us), Jack Dee in his hay day.
Not so keen on, Michael Macintyre, Russell Howard, Shappi…

Road (motor bikes) used smaller front wheels to quicken the steering but then they’re spining faster & weigh much more to start. Motocross bikes have always (almost always) had larger front wheels for the same reasons as Bez mentions.
I had wondered why the Trek 69er didn’t prevail, seemed logical for off road.

You may have a point although i don’t really agree, Adam & Carroll never gonna be good enough. I think Arsenal are more of a joke TBH.

Granny’s is in Horner Wood, sort of between Flora’s and the decent to Horner Farm. If you head that way you will see signs but i’ve not seen it on an OS map.
BTW i dislocated my shoulder last time i rode it, got in wrong line near the bottom… 8O

Hawk Combe and anywhere along that valley & along the ridge is good, just be careful of walkers near bottom. Granny’s ride also very good. There’s a nice one into Porlock Weir as well. We were there three weeks ago, excellent riding but very wet. :-)
