He will love it. Plot is not overly complicated, visually spectacular and funny moments.

Thinking that my daughter will enjoy it……..

Have you lost weight or carry less kit at the moment?

Have you tried running the shock at 210 or 215 psi to see if you get the correct sag? Just to check that propedal is off when setting sag?

A good few years ago I saw Zodiac Mindwarp and the love reaction (Class) at the Bristol studio. Supported by some little band called the wonder stuff, who were fannying about doing an electo acoustic set and were rubbish. Six months later they were excellent.

Also got given a last minute freebie ticket to see The Jeff Healy band, ruddy brilliant.

Got mine through Aspirevelotech at the same time as the BB and service tool.

Email them and ask to reserve one and they will let you know as soon as it is available. Get the grease tool at the same time for cheapo postage with no duty (i never have been stung). They are very good.

If your near Weymouth then you can have a borrow of mine.

Back in the day it was a set of Grafton speed controller brakes f+R. £400, and then you ‘had’ to have the brake levers as well….
As I said, i’m better now.

Weight differences are in the region of 200g at most. The advantages of the carbon frame are the stiffness and the ‘damping’ effect of the carbon.
I have the anthem advanced frame, and i found i preferred the ride to the alloy one. Apart from what i percieved as a stiffer BB area, there was a ‘something’ about the ride i preferred. Plus it looks ace :D

Try and get a ride on the carbon and alloy versions to see if it makes adifference.

    Blimey!!

I’ve just had the opposite. Just walked into town (Weymouth) streaming the BBC iplayer (Adam and Joe) and my wireless has lasted just under half a mile.

Saying that, it will drop the signal in the bedroom. Sometimes

I was asked to get something from my regional managers car. I was distracted by his payslip stuffed in the boot and forgot the keys were in the car when i slammed the boot. Then it dawned on me that i had no keys.

A very awkward two hour drive to his house to get the spare keys and drive him back again!

Running NN and RR with 717 rims. Works very well. I was surprised at how porous the schwalbe sidewalls were initially, but following the instructions to get the latex solution evenly around the tyre, but everything worked well.

I use 10wt fully synthetic motorcycle fork oil when servicing. Never had a problem and as saladdoger said, it’s much cheaper for a lot more.

Might be worth getting a small syringe as i have to inject my oil through the bolt hole that attaches the lowers to the stantions.
It’s quite easy, just take yor time.

Same LBS for the past, er, 17 years. Knew the old owner well and the current owner has been a friend for 17 years.

Get Tea and Coffee (have to make it myself though, and for the others)
Use of the workshop and expensive tools.
Taught how to build wheels, meaning i never buy wheels from them! I do get asked to do the odd wheel build for them though.
Bowl of sweets on the counter to raid, post ride,
And best of all, a good bunch of mates and years of very good advice.

I do know Aspire sell through them very quickly due to supply. If you email them and they don’t have them in stock then they will reserve them for you when they are available. They’ll even let you pay in advance :-) for immediate shipping!!

For the money, hope are very good and from reports on STW the customer service is superb.

I’ve had my Chris Kings for over 4 years now and had no problems, just a clean and regrease every 6 months.

    Both good choices.

Fitted stans to a 717 rim sunday. As prev mentioned, you want the sealing strip to be consistantly fitted all around the rim, evenly between the sidewalls and even tension around the rim. This took the most time for me,getting it nice and even, especially around the valve which was a sod to get under the rim to give a good, even, bead hook. I also found hanging the wheel with the valve at the top easier for inflating, rather than being on the floor.

I only had to use 2 layers of the yellow tape pulled very tight under the rim strip.

Worth checking your Local bike shop. Sometimes you pay a little more than online, but they may fit it for you for free/cheaper than if you bought the part online and asked them to fit it.

My only regret was selling my 1993 Klein Rascal. Thinking about it i can name every part that was on it. So i will..

Klein rascal in candy apple blue, RC35 forks, Grafton speed controllers, Cook bros RSR cranks, USE ti post, flite saddle, syncros stem/bars, onza porkypaws and clipless pedals, umma gumma tyres, King headset and hubs, XC pro bits.

    Retrobike heaven.

The only other frame i miss was a Pace rc200 that went to dr_sam on stw.

2 cats here. Betty and Wilma (which is offputting when the swinnertons ad on the left comes into view) were 3 months when we got them from the rescue centre. Out in the garden first day, feeding the roses and never a problem.

They do own us though :D
