    I’ve got one.

Can’t use it anymore as I can’t find a mount for the 5s now they’re out of production

Dodgey “for sale” opportunity if you wanted it’s just sat in my garage

I’ll buy it from you! my email is in my profile, cheers.

It’s a large frame and the steerer is approx 210mm.
Might just cut but leave 1 spacer on top.
Out this weekend for a couple of rides so will decide after that.
    Cheers for the advice!

If i do cut, what’s the best way to deal with star nut to get it further down the steerer?

he’s not going to return it, just buttering you up before trying for a partial refund in some sort of post sale price bartering game that he thinks will work because you value your precious feedback.
Exactly what happened in fact. Now he doesn’t want to return it, just get a partial refund.

This happened to me, I refused to partial refund and told them to return item.
They kept it, but left neg feedback.
Contacted eBay who could see via messages that I had been totally reasonable and eBay removed the neg feedback.

Don’t let the threat of neg feedback make you give in!

Finally got up to Hamsterly Forest this morning, did the red route, a number of issues have become apparent:

    1. I’m not as fit as i was (or use to think i was!)
    2. I need a better pair of cycling shorts!

Must be about 10 years since i rode a bike properly around Hamsterly and i must say i really enjoyed it, especially Transmission, Accelerator and Nitrous!
Nearly lost it a couple of times but my skills* (*luck) kept me upright and on the bike!

Couldn’t fault the bike, not much to compare it to ( used to have a Marin single pivot) and it rode better than that. Bit of brake squeal? and i think i need more air in the rear shock. Need to buy a shock pump!
Rode very good and comfortable, went up hill ok when i wasn’t pushing it!
Downhill was great, in my limited experiance.

    Overall really impressed!
Only one photo, to knackered to get phone out of backpack!

I changed the glass on my sons S3, didn’t find it hard at all.
Just used a hair dryer to soften glue and screen just prised off.
I googled it and followed an online guide.

My boys have one each, a 250gb and the youngest a 4gb.
Only a couple of games won’t play on the 4gb which in a way is a good thing as he shouldn’t be playing on them anyway!
But all the games I deem suitable for him ie FIFA, racing games, disney infinity etc all play no problem on the 4gb console.

Always feel particularly sorry for those in the cycle industry, working in bike shops for 3 pence an hour when loads of Cycle Scheme knobbos turn up, desperate to make up every last penny of the 1000 quid.

I had 1k, shop gave me 10% off, so I’ve got £100 left over.
I can’t reduce the 1k so of course I’m going to spend the extra £100 to make it up to £1k!

There’s 6000 people where I work and about 20 bikes in sheds at any one time, so no, not a lot of people use the bike for work. (Approx 20% of employees have used the scheme at some stage)

I picked my new bike up today from halfords (boardman team fs 650b) was £999 but this weekend they have 10% off all bikes.
My LOC was for £1k so I ended up getting the bike for £899 and having £101 to spend on accessories. (New helmet and jacket).

So for £1k I pay back £737, which seems good to me

    Mine took 6 days!
Applied on the Friday, had my LOC the following Thursday!

I work for a large multi national company who have been doing the scheme for the last 5 years though.

Only 2 road bikes available in the clearance offer though.

Happy with £100 to spend to take me up to my £1k voucher, proberly get a new helmet, either the 661 Recon Stealth, Gyro Hex or Met Terra. Which ever fits the best.

Well went to garage this afternoon, we were upfront with salesman telling him we we’re there to compare the two with no real intention of buying 😳

Don’t know wether it was because it was quiet but he was very accomadating! Even let us take both cars out for a test drive!

    So it’s been decided she want’s a………..TT 😆

It just felt more fun and that little bit more special.

She will have the money by end of January so the hunt is on!

Thanks for all the info above.

Just going to that garage as it’s local and they’ve got one of each so she can compare the two.

I know she can get a better/practical car but she has decided on either the audi or mini. It’s her money and she’s treating herself!

(of course i’ll be the one fixing it if it goes wrong!)

Edit: Will state our intentions at garage. I’m not a tease 😉
