32:16 for me round the likes of Mabie, Ae, Glentress, etc. Don’t have to push that often and I’m a fat nacker!

Why not order a full set with new locking collars from superstar components, they’ll be about the same price as the grips only from other manufacturers. Then when they wear out you can just get the grips from them for about a fiver.

You can even mix and match grip and collar colours.

Saw him once with Beth Orton. Grumpy bugger didn’t find it funny when someone shouted “play summer of ’69”

The only joke I can ever remember……..

What’s the difference between oral and anal sex?

One makes your day, the other makes your whole(hole) week(weak).

In Mabie Forest about 12 years ago. She was married. The husband stole my tyre levers, I stole his wife.

Do you mean one if those fold away jobbies?

Just bought my lad (5yr old) one from tesco for £10. Seems OK for the money. The headset is a bit pants but it is a throw away kids toy really.

I’m the service manager for a small office equipment dealer. We also do cash registers and epos systems, both locally and nationaly through our website which I manage.

    Been there over 20years.

Cheers. I’ll give that a go.

I’ll need to shorted the hoses so hopefully a bleed will help to.

Thanks for the feedback. Most reviews seem to be very mixed, I just wonder if quality control is a bit iffy.

Bolts are an easy thing to swap out and they would be going on a singlespeed so the levers can be moved well inboard if the levers feel long.

May well give them a punt.

    Cheers.

Sorry for the thread revival, found this while googling reviews on the Clarks Skeletal brakes.

Does anyone have an update on how these brakes are coping 5 months on? My 12 year old hopes have finally given up the ghost and I’m skint so new Hopes are out of the question.

    Cheers.

Apps to SD won’t move any apps that can’t be. All you can do is wait until the app developers release an update that allows it to be moved.

I used CRC about 2 weeks ago and checked my account the other day when the other thread popped up. No fraudulent transactions on my card.

    Hi.

What length do you need? The company I work for sells till rolls so I can get you them in 44, 57 and 80mm lengths. I think they all have 12.7mm diameter’s.

Email me and I’ll get them posted.

    Cheers.

Ah, sorry. Forgot about the + vat thing taking it beyond your budget. But if you can stretch you might find that the cost of ownership over 3-5 years will be much lower than a Brother or Samsung due to the cost per page. Some of our clients have got the extra capital outlay back in as little as 6 months.

    Hi

I run the service department for an independent office equipment retailer. We are the warranty service agents for Brother and I’d say avoid them. The way their laser printers calculate how much toner is left in the cartridge is crude and can mean you needing to replace them with 20% left.

We are also the main service agents for the Executive Series by OKI Printing Solutions. Although the ES range is out of your price bracket their MC560dn ticks all your boxes. They give outstanding prints due to the polymer in the toners, are extremely reliable(I have clients doing over 5,000 colour and 3,000 mono prints per month on this machine)and they come with a 3 year warranty and £50 cash back. They are also quite cheap to run.

I would also avoid Samsung. We were service agents for a number of years and they were expensive to run with consumables never achieving their yields.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to email me.

    Rik, you’ll need a mate who’s a dab hand with a soldering iron. 😉

I might be intetested in converting mine too.

My wife has the wildfire and it can be quite laggy compared to my desire. Didn’t seem to slow at first but got worse as time went bye. I’d recommend the desire if you can afford it.

30mm is fine. I’ve been using a salsa one on my inbred for the last 3 years without any problems. Still got a nice smooth action.

Only a light dusting of snow in dumfries last night. I would have thought that the trails would be fine.

There’s now about 4 inches of snow in Dumfries so get out and play. Mabie was great last week when the snow was here.

Just looked out the window again and it’s coming down pretty heavy. I’d leave it unless it’s really urgent.

Might stay put myself for another day.

I’m in stonehouse just south of Glasgow and it’s currently snowing lightly but looks like it’s on for the day. Main roads should be clear but there were a few accidents yesterday.

How’s it down in Dumfries, I need to head home later.

Very jealous. Rode at Mabie today as time was limited. Drum is my favourite round this way and has proper rooty singletrack. Rik makes a good brew if you don’t mind the taste of GT45 in your tea.

Ahh, The Meteors. I’ve got a loft full of old psychobilly vinyl. Must invest in one of those turntables that convert to mp3.

    Thanks ads-b.

At least that will stop it crashing. It’s a bit frustrating though as I used to watch the video content fairly often.

I’m sure I read somewhere that there was some legal issue between Java and Google, hopefully it will be resolved and an update will follow.

My Desire updated to 2.2 a few weeks ago and since then BBC sport websites with video content crash the standard web browser. If I turn off Java in the web browser settings the page won’t crash but it says below where the video content should be that I need Java to view it.

Can any of you 2.2 users out there try and see if the same happens on your phone please.

One of the pages that crashes is:-

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/football

    Thanks.
