I have a 3year son who lives with me and the wife and a 12 year son from a past relationship who I see every other weekend, so NO riding than. Other times I go on the road monday, wednesday and thursday evenings and every other weekend when my 12 year is not with us MTB on a sunday all day so I make the most of that day and try and MTB all over the place, Pecks, Dale, Lake, Wales etc etc. My wife’s really good about it all, but sometimes I might have taken the pi$$ a bit, but not on purpose. God I love her.

Yes I know your going to use it for work!! but is it for work ONLY or are you doing off road aswell, I would go for the bike, see how the shock is and maybe up grade it later. on mine it change my fork from 140mm to 100mm and its made a big different in speed etc

Are you just using the bike for getting to work, If you are than I would consider a road bike. but if you are going to use it for off road aswell than its a good starting point, here is my trance but it’s got some serous upgrades

Mastiles lane from Kilsay is not far from Littledale and from little itself there is a route which takes you over to Horton-in-riddersdale. There are loads around littledale if you know the area well like I do. Do you fancy meeting up for a ride Mr Sparkle some time?

OK, I’ve got plenty of routes so I will think of something, I will text you later in the week :D

One of these would do nicely, cos I like giant bikes and it would go nicely with my giant trance mtb and my giant defy road bike

It happens all the time to me, I can ride miles and miles off road and not see a sole, most of my riding is around the Dales past skipton, Settle, Hawes etc, it’s pretty weird sometimes not seeing at least 1 person.
