Theresa will keen to pin it on the Ruskies so that she can wrap herself in the flag and galvanise parliament to support her deal in the face of this unprecented attack from a hostile state.

Maybe he was concussed, perhaps he feared the lynch-mob branding him a “killer e-biker”?

Before the enforcement issue arise there needs to be an investigation to establish whether, and by whom, the alleged chemical weapons have been used.

The Iraq WMD dossier was a work of fiction, but enabled the government to whip the House of Commons into a baying mob, abetted by the media, such that the few voices of reason were shouted down as apologists for Saddam Hussein.

Seen them used where cycling is permitted in both directions on an otherwise one-way street- where they can be useful.

Keep in mind yourself that WTC7 had 91,000 litres of diesel in the basement. 91,000 litres of diesel. Probably good stuff for creating more than an office fire. In addition to the diesel tanks in the basement it had pumps and fuel lines throughout the first nine floors.

NIST says that an estimated 23,000 gallons of diesel were recovered several months after the collapse and that fuel oil did not contribute to the collapse- FAQ #19-https://www.nist.gov/el/faqs-nist-wtc-7-investigation

If the driver finds a car dashboard boring he could try looking out of the windscreen. Saabs were good for practicality, a lot of modern dashes with their distracting chromed plastic are the spiritual heirs to the Ausin Allegro Vanden Plas.

Well I’ve phoned the police to add the info to the incident report, in case the miscreant’s Vauxhall is identified in another incident. Not holding my breath. Might have a little ride around the locality too…

They were attacked by a bunch of Belgians.

Trained in Syria. Go read this Guardian Syria

I’d guess you’ll still be in the No camp after reading it, but at least you’ll be better informed.

Trained in Syria, but not in easy to bomb isolated training camp in the desert, but among the civilian populations of the urban areas which they occupy, with tunnels to hide in.

Did it a couple of years ago, lucky with the weather. Did the Bedoin ascent, back down to Chalet Reynard and down to Sault and the Gorges de la Nesque- lovely long gentle downhill along the gorge. Did a few day rides in the area and the gorge was the highlight.

I’ve only watched the first episode, which was much more pedestrian than I had hoped. Not convinced that the music is entirely era-authentic either. I think the corridor scenes are emphasising the segregation that was prevalent. Trying to like it but not finding the characters very convincing. Preferring Blandings, maybe I’m just shallow

Don’t worry, a reliable source has told me that Findus lasagne is perfectly safe, I’m sure it’s true as I heard it straight from the horse’s mouth.

Might be worth a try- old 7 speed downtube levers working fine(on friction setting) with 9 speed cassette on road bike.

I tried one for similar reasons but found it too wide at the front, the packaging indicated it was intended for more upright/ trekkIng bikes. Now use it on upright town bike- its ok.
Ended up spending more to get a perforated-leather covered Selle Italia with cut-out for the road bike, so far so good.

Perhaps more attention should be given to those cases where the cyclist is “only” injured- but could easily have been killed e.g. http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/Home/Careless-driver-fined-for-injuring-cyclist-in-collision-17042012.htm- the fine is laughably small and the words of the driver “I touched the cyclist with my wing mirror and she fell” sound chilling- as if he is surprised at this outcome.
