He’s probably over compensating for being a slightly retarded needle dick who hasn’t quite grown up past the playground stage yet, at a guess…

The V4 micro road have a lower platform height that requires the cleats to be rebated across the middle, they don’t work with SPD cleats. I use them on both my road bike and my Sc BLT

Grizzlygus, best in the world. Maybe the SFO is, nowt else is.

Coffeeking, I’m with you. It’s a shit state of affairs that decent folk have to undergo this sort of treatment from the police. But when there are elements intent on nothing but destruction, it’s always going to happen.

Once real protesters start physically ejecting the violent element from within their own ranks during marches and handing them over to the police then they’ll be able to exercise their legitimate right to peaceful protest. It’s a real shame, but i can’t seee it happening any other way.

and that of course is giving the police the benefit of the doubt on wether they just want to intimidate everyone out of their right to protest.

Do you just want to conceal or do you want to ‘fix it’.

Forget nail polish, if you ever intend flattening it off you have two options. You can either build it up in layers using something like SP-system Ultravar 2000 2 pack polyester, , or you could repair it with a decent epoxy resin, SP-system, West marine.

You could use DIY store shit if you wanted, but they don’t set as hard as the stuff your bike is made of, they have no UV inhibitors in them and you won’t be able to flatten them off properly using rubbing/polishing compound.

if you want a perfect job you need to use decent stuff.

You could of course just try using some polishing compound and a reasonable hard plastic/rubber buff, but it’ll never get smooth if you build up with nail varnish.

I’d expect it’s not worth the £30 to do it right.

    ‘Spam words’ mod.

Set it to delete all posts and block all accounts with under 10 posts that contain any of your hotwords. I’ll send you the list I use on the forum i administer. We auto delete about 50 accounts a week, maybe one a week gets through.

anything that depletes your blood sugar without tipping you over the anaerobic threshold will work. 120-130bpm is perfectly adequate for rides over an hour in duration.

    10mm is too low.

5mm under is maximum, and any wrench monkey worth there salt will tell you to cut them long by 5mm and use a spacer over the stem.

I think that’s awesome if it was my patch i’d do all i could to make sure it stayed viable.

This won’t be kids-kids, it’ll be late teens.

Maybe clean it up and leave a big chalk mark saying ‘ride bmx here’ on one side of the yard.

    1. once fitted you do not need the SFN or top cap.
    2. if your stem comes loose then two things could be happening. Steerer is sliding out of fork crown, stem is sliding up steerer. There are no other possibilities. Either your forks are shagged or your stem steerer interface is a bad choice, regardless of where you ride.

Rushes off downstairs to try the same thing….

    1 minute later.

Well there is no definite ‘detent’ that it sits into to tell you it’s at the end. However, after a certain point you can no longer unwind the twists from the hose that exits in front of the red barrel, which kind of indicates, somewhat subtly, that you’ve gone far enough.

How much adjustment did you want…. There’s bloody loads.
