Why don’t shops sell Sugar Puffs any more, are they not made now?

Loose Teeth by La Luz is what I seem to be playing daily at the moment, it sounds a bit like an early Blondie type track which is no bad thing! The rest of the album (Floating Features) is pretty good as well.

If the predicted high winds hit there’s every chance it’ll be shut and it’ll be utter chaos trying to get through the tunnels, go the other way around the M25 if you have that option.

Despite their bad reputation I’ve been using GXP BB’s with SRAM cranks (2 road bikes, and 1 MTB) for ten years with no problems. I put this down to torquing them up to 54nM every time I refit them. I reckon that doing them up too tight helps knacker the bearings.

I got stung on the tongue by a bee a couple of weeks ago whilst riding, hurt like hell and made me talk like Harry Kane for a few hours, but apart from that no other ill effects.

I bought an 18v DeWalt XR (brushless motor, 2 X 2a batteries) at Screwfix yesterday for 99 quid, well happy with it!

Offer ends on Monday 2nd September though.

OP, I asked the same question on here in November and I used Housenetwork on the recommendations I had off here.

Local estate agent would’ve been 4k commission, I paid Housenetwork £825 for their premium service. I sold within 4 weeks and got more than the local ‘expert’ said we would get for it. If I ever moved again I would go straight back to Housenetwork as they’ve been really good with their communications and service.

PS; I used the online conveyancing sevice (Mi-Ctrl) associated with them as well and they’ve been really good.

I had to repair a corner where I’d removed a fitted cupboard, I glued the corner bead on with a hot glue gun! Worked a treat.

“if Fellani wasn’t injured. that was a savage substitution” (can’t get the blockquote thing right!)

That was the icing on the cake, funniest moment in the match (just slightly better than Dele tripping Sanchez near the end)!

That game made the miserable trek to Wembley well worth it last night. Anybody that watched MOTD would think that Man U had 50% of the game, truth is they were outclassed everywhere on the pitch.

Now why can’t we play like we did against Man U (and Dortmund, and Real Madrid, and Liverpool) when we play teams like Wet Spam, Burnley, and Swansea!

    A very happy Spursn17

Does anyone have any tips for rescribing the panel lines and how I might go about replicating the rivet details?

Snap the tip off of a Swann Morton scalpel blade (wear goggles!) and then use the back of the blade to score the line, the square back where it’s been snapped off leaves a nice groove.

As above use Dymo tape as a guide.

Rivets I don’t worry about as any you recreate in 1/72 will be very oversized. You can use a dressmakers/tailors tool called a ‘ponce wheel’ which is similar to the model shop things but a lot cheaper.

When I finished episode 1 I had a look at the real Jan Palach’s story, made No2 a much more interesting watch.

I’ve just finished watching ‘Witnesses’, some of it was a bit unbelievable (plot had more holes than Uncle Albert’s pants!) but I really enjoyed it. It was certainly as good as the first series.

All4 and Walter seems to supply my viewing of choice over the last few months. ‘Case’ was really good, as was ‘Dead Beautiful’. ‘Norskov’ was the usual dark Scandi watch, they do like a bit of political turmoil in their crime drama’s don’t they!

I’m currently just about to start episode 3 of ‘The Burning Bush’. I nearly gave up on episode 1 as it was slow going, but stick with it kids it gets better.

For a totally mad series try ‘The Outlaws’ for fun murders. Just what you’d expect from a country as nutty as Belgium where having fun is riding up cobbled hills on expensive bikes 😀

‘Spiral’ is back on the 30th December, can’t wait!

You’d be surprised at some of the calls I take on this sort of thing, usually somebody reporting that there’s a ‘suspicious’ person with a beard chanting, and it’s usually on a Friday! But the climate being what it is we’re told to take everything seriously and get it looked at. A pain in the botty hole 🙄

Take a sherbet (cab), the tube will be very busy and your daughter will get knocked about. I work on the tube and this is a busy time of year, especially on a Friday evening.

If you do insist on the tube then Waterloo and City line to Bank then Northern line to KX, but a cab is a better option if she’s still delicate.

BBC6 isn’t perfect, but then I think that is why it’s so good.

I tend not to listen much on a Saturday until it’s time for Craig Charles, but other than that I dip in and out for the rest of the week. One of it’s strengths is that you will always hear something new at some point, or an old track that you haven’t heard for years (Carter USM, Sherriff Fatman yesterday!).
When I’m at work it’s always a fight to gain control of the radio stations and when I hear some of the right old pony that other people put on I thank whatever force is about that BBC6 exists, I had to listen to a couple of hours of Magic and Heart the other day and I nearly went into a coma as they repeat the same tracks constantly.

It annoys me sometimes when the do stuff like their Pixies fest and the Glastonbury excitement overload, but I’d miss it if it wasn’t there, even Keaveny.

I put 50 quid a month in a savings account for 2 dogs and 1 cat, this pays for regular stuff like vaccinations and also emergency things. Cat just had a broken jaw which was 425 quid but there was enough in it to pay it. It seems to me that some vets bang up the price when they know it’s on the insurance.

This method is a bit risky for a couple of years at the beginning but it is worth it now I’ve been doing it for about 8 years, the plan was if anything big happened it would go on a credit card and get transferred to an interest free one. So far so good!

You have to feel for the Spuds, no sooner do they (eventually)start playing like a top team, but the speculation begins on how long they can hold onto their manager!

This is becoming a real concern now but I think he won’t go anywhere else yet as he’ll want to finish what he’s building at Tottenham. Players nearly always move on at some point and at least Levy has got them tied to contracts so we’ll be paid well for them, but a good manager like Poch is a rare find and Levy should give him whatever he wants to get him to stay as long as possible.
