Issue a mall claims court summons for what she owes you (including expenses but don’t take the wee wee), the limit is £10,000 now.

She will have to respond to that, keep records/copies as evidence and all correspondence from everyone.

Spend the money on a bike.

When you’re dead you’re not going to be able to read your headstone anyway.

http://www.bikeline.co.uk Like i said earlier try , have a look at their website for further info and its free.

If you dont do it legally and correct then she may well go down that road and turn the tables on you.

and stop talking to her, unless you wannt a date.

+1 for Bikeline, they understand cyclists. They were a great help to me a couple of years ago after I got knocked off in the City of London and I can’t praise them highly enough.

If you ride into the woods (Brannetts woods) on the other side of the river (the Mardyke) from Davy Down you can amuse yourself in there for an hour or so, then find the path at the top next to the M25 that takes you on to Stifford Road from Hangman’s Woods. From there chuck a left to the roundabout then in through the gate and head up the other side of the M25 into Belhus Country Park.

You can easily do 20 miles or so if you zigzag about a bit, it is a bit flat though.

Have any of you with Quattro’s had any problems with the front wheel oscillating when hitting about 30mph?

I get this if my tyre is over 100psi (fat bloke and need lots of air to hold me up), if I lower it to 100 the problem stops.

I don’t get this problem with any other wheel, even my Fulcrum 5’s.

    Update.

I’ve had the nut on order for three weeks now and have been told not to expect it anytime soon (possibly at the end of August, I think that they sellotaped it to a snail and it’s sliding all the way from Italy).

I ordered a nut for a Fulcrum Red Metal wheel from an Ebay seller in the US. It fits perfectly and arrived in 7 days.

Fulcrum spare parts service from the UK distributor is pants!

    Santini, 50 quid from prendas.co.uk.

Usually next day delivery, and if you’re not sure what size you need you can call them and ask. Mine were spot on.

I know that the story is in the Daily Racist but I can ignore that just this once.

I may be wrong but I understood that the Quatro comes with a 10/11sp freehub and that both should just fit ok, I think that the compatibility for 9sp has been dropped.

Like I said I could be wrong though.

I’ve got these wheels and have fitted a Sram pg1070 cassette with no spacer, so a Shimano should drop on ok. Had them a couple of months and not had any problems.

I always found the vision surprisingly good when driving a bus in london, I think that the improved perfomance is problem as you can get yourself in a bad situation quicker than you can get out of it. The old RM’s had awful vision but were a lot slower so you could keep out of trouble.

Have they an uplift service ?

Yep, and a nice police officer will help you exit the station as well.

I bought just the ally frame and carbon forks in January and am very happy with it. Full mudguards are great.

A bus driver has to do something really appalling to get disciplined, the get out clause are the words ‘I couldn’t brake hard because an old lady was standing up and may have fallen’.

Some London bus drivers are excellent but the training is nowhere near as good now as it was under london Transport.

I know a few people who are sticking any spare money they have into premium bonds as they think that the stock market is a bit volatile at the moment.

On this morning’s Today Programme David Bennett, a market trader, said that after his housing benefit had been cut, he lives on £53 per week.

What is he selling on the market then, dog poo? He may want to consider a career change.

I like SRAM on my road bikes, one riders poor and clunky is another one’s positive engagement.

I’ve got Rival on one bike and Force on the other, I can’t really tell the difference between them though, apart from Rival is black and Force is grey.

I got some Speedplay Zero’s when I had problems with knee pain, knees don’t hurt now.

Had them a few years and wouldn’t use any other road pedal. They take a bit of getting used to as there is so much float (with no resistance), persevere with them though as the clipping/unclipping is stiff at first but it does get better.

Not had a problem with drivers on it and it’ll play (through Wine) old XP games that 7 won’t!

I was also misquoted in “The Times” many years ago….

I found a book with a picture of me standing behind Paul Weller in a pub….

I was on BBC London news when they filmed my at my work.

I charge £2.37p for public appearances now :D

I’ve been using DHB ones from Wiggle for the 3 years, still comfortable but on their last legs now. I’ll be ordering another pair soon.

    You will need……..

A mini usb lead for the connection.
A 5v voltage regulator (the little 3 legged kind, about £1.50).
    4 AA batteries.
    A battery holder.

Wire up the regulator inline between the battery holder and the usb lead, you’ll have to check on the internet for which 2 wires in the usb lead are + and – as I can’t remember. Worked for me.

I don’t like sweet stuff either and have been thinking of taking baby food out with me. You can get it in gel type packs, they’re not the really smooth ones and have a bit of texture.

    Has anyone else tried these?

Leku, your boy has made an excellent choice of EPL club.

Teach him this Danny Blanchflower quote……

“The great fallacy is that the game is first and foremost about winning. It’s nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It’s about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.”
