I did it with 5 others about 5 years ago in 3 days. It was very hard and after the first day I did not enjoy it really. My memory of it is a bit vague i do remember the endless fire road climbs. Great challenge but if I was to do it again I would be looking at doing 4 to 5 days and enjoying it more.

I had a 2016 one, great downhill but not that great pedalling wise and heavy.

I have watched every single England test since 2002 live and yesterdays was the single most useless game I have ever seen and that includes some total cack.the moment I saw Dan Cole lumbering around a ruck I knew we were in trouble. Almost looked like match fixing.
Fairplay to Scotland who should be furious with themselves for not winning and well done to Wales who got better throughout the tournament. I see Ireland going well at the world cup with expectations lowered, Wales doing well and Engkand to play some great first halves.

Had a 2019 36 with grip damper and now run a lyric rc2. I have had several fox now with the fit 4, rc2 and the basic grip which the z1 has in. I did just not like the feel of the 36, not that plush dived a bit and on prolonged rough descents my hands just ached with it. Lyrik rc2 I have now is far superior for me, I have not tried a grip 2 damper but these are dear to either drop in or buy the fork.

I have 2019 genius, swapped the fork out so only use the rear lock which I do alot, i find it intuitive and well worth having. It is not super plush but it is slack and rides well. I did have to have a full bearing change after 2 months though, this was under warranty and I am not aware of others having the same problem.

Think they have a pre warm up game against England among others. Wales winning run remains me a bit of England’s record equalling one, flatters to deceive.

Scott spark may be worth a look, good angles, reasonable weight. Thread on here a few days ago about them.

Tried Tudor and omega on was going for the omega when they suggested I look at the Bremont s501. Tried it on and preferred it on my wrist but know nothing about them. Any thoughts on them ?

Never really like the look of the sonders before but that looks nice especially with the stealth helm fork. The front tire scares me as well.

Thanks for detailed responses I think will go for the latest movement in black, going to go and try one on along with a Tudor again and decide.

Looking at the omega seamaster 300, is there a big difference between the master and standard version. Price wise it’s a jump of £680

Nice bike I have the genius in the same colour, much nicer in the flesh/sunlight as it has the gold shimmer. Swapped out to lyrics rc2 and changed the wheels, it pedals really well at 30lb so yours will shift along nicely.

Neilneville thanks for response, I nearly went for the black bay but like you suggest am going to give it some time to decide. That bronze version does look good and did not realise the case was bigger.

Not after anything really big but around 41, 42 as I have big wrists. Not really looked at bell and Ross , tried on a Tudor black bay today which I liked and an omega planet ocean which was really nice but a bit pricey.

Tudor looks decent case maybe a little smaller than I was after, never that keen on omega but will have a look at them, are they a division of swatch ?

Just spotted this thread and appears to be some expertise on here ( well more knowledgeable than me). I am looking for a new watch up to 3.3k and wondered what people recommend. I like the rugged divers style. I had a superocean a few years ago and liked that and have considered another or an avenger. Any others to consider avoid etc

I see him starting having Brown at FB and Daly & May on the wings with Nowell on the bench. I am less sure on how he sees the centre and whether tuilagi can get through a week in Portugal

Yeah i had been trying to charge the negative every 50psi or so, it does get full travel with no air, hopefully the 10psi I have just dropped may help. Going to give it a go tomorrow

The compression adjustment is via Scott twinloc which has three trigger operated settings which you cannot get wrong, the only air volume adjustment is via i switch which I have set to linear

I am 95kg so more likely out the other side damping wise 😎

No volume spacers in it so hopefully air out will work

Stood up sag method I am at 27% I will drop some out and take the pump with me next ride, there is no compression damping on

I do the sag sat down will try stood up and see, for some reason I always thought I would need more air if measured standing

Can’t lower the progression band wise as none in it, it has the new progression switch which is exclusive to Scott i think, the equivalent to adding spacers. Could run more sag as it’s the twinloc system so you can click the switch for pedalling but seems a lot at 35 % plus
