I saw that £5 quid was a very good result. Any thoughts on these at all

    Axis II

nearly bought a tudor black bay then cancelled my order as I have a desire for something with a british connection. Been looking at Bremont and came across these Pinion ones which look nice and run in very limited batches.

As above you dont noticeably lose any travel, just makes em feel better.

That’s a nice bike. I have the helm air, bit fiddly to get right but really good when you do. I run only one click of low speed and no high. I also have about 8 psi more in the negative chamber which makes them nice and supple in the start.

My mate has one in the british racing green with grip 2 fox etc. I think it was the 4k build. I have has a couple of goes on it although it’s a little small for me. It is built like a tank and does not feel like a 130mm bike, helped by the 150mm fork. It tracks well and I really liked it, not the most poppy bike but just really nice and solid bike to ride. I would consider one as my next bike.

I have a stanton slackline and a bronson. Live in the peaks, I like the HT for a couple of hours but get beaten up if any longer and I would never take it to scotland or the alps. Unless it’s super smooth I am nowhere near as quick on the ht.

Black rocks, Riber should fill your time. Bit muddy maybe, they should be able to point you in the right direction from stanton.

I put a short offset lyrik on one at 160mm and had the same experience, could not get it to turn. Solved it in the most part by switching to 35mm long stem. Always felt a bit weird though.

Maybe he is thinking about his and his teams dire performance.

Checked with Bird they said it will be fine

Scruff, my understanding is that the reduced offset increases trail and therefore stability, although I am running a longer fork which will slackenit out a bit and may compensate, I can about a bit with stem and bar width a bit as well. Ben at bird said it would be fine to ride so going to give it a go.

Just about to order one of these as my new do it all bike. Stopped riding 29 wheels last year having tried a few, just prefer 27.5. Going to be running 150mm forks on it with a 44 offset not the 37. Thanks Ben for should prompt responses to queries. Great value as well.

I like the look of the latest orange 5 now, 65 ha, 485 reach and 1240mm wheelbase looks good in XL.

I just lacked confidence on the aeris it felt a bit dead in the rear. Lots of people like them I just could get on with it. I have a demo on a rocket on saturday so will see how that goes.

Yeah I have a 210mm dropper as well, which I can adjust but I do like it as it is, I suspect on the XL remedy I would have to go to 150.

Remedy I like but seat tube is to long in my size, I had an aeris and did not get on with it

I have gone from long travel 29 back to 27.5 and prefer it 90% of the time. Find it much easier on tight technical stuff and generally easier to get in with. Few of my group have gone back as well.

DT Swiss for me, Moonglu do 481’s on hope hubs for 485 if you want to stretch a bit further for a uk builder.

I would be going for the lyrik, amazing fork, easy to setup and would be brand new so new warranty etc.

Not the half we wanted, need to stop giving scrums away as they have bought the ref on them. Can see Farrell moving to 10 soon.

Think Francis will be cited and to be honest I(hopefully) did not see him having much more involvement anyway. I see ford/Farrell as 10/12 for rest of the games now. Decent performance bar some of the handling.

I went to watch for the first time, it’s awesome, the gaps are crazy. That rock drop that does not look like much after the road gap is horrid. No run in to speak off and so much higher than it looks on telly, well worth a trip if you have not been. Riders were great with the kids as well.

Cokanasiga weighs 17 stone and runs the 100 in 10.6 apparently, so is likely to create holes in defences no matter who is first up tackling, he can improve his defence and a 15 can cover him.

I have had all 3 and have freerider pros and GR5 at the min. The pro are the best for me, nice and stiff with great grip

Trailforks gives you loads of trails out the back of the town and up towards the caingorm. Some are a bit steep but there is some good less techy stuff. Lairig Ghru path is good fun as well.

I have done both and would go with the elan valley, great views and some nice varied trails. As above the bike shop in Rhayader pointed me in the right direction.

I was there on Saturday did the lollipop route, I would not fancy carrying an ebike up some of it, I am sure the rest of you can help if need be. Awesome riding to be had

I find the new sram 12 speed stuff really susceptible to getting hit and bust would have thought you are better on shimano just on cost alone, the older 11 speed sram maybe a bit tougher

I had the same problem wanting some ex1501 and could not get them, bought carbon and dont regret it. Plenty of folk prefer Ali though and I didn’t get on with the light bicycle ones I tried a couple of years ago.

Tomhoward decided without the benefit of hindsight, action for insolvent trading would be taken by a liquidator who could also look at deposits being taken and not ring fencing. Lots of options for a liquidator if the company enters formal insolvency proceedings. Key to rememberthough this would only be viable if the company or directors had assets to get at.

Carbon Roval traverse are a little more at 999 but really nice set, good weight 30mm internal

Trading whilst insolvent is not illegal and is acceptable if there is a realistic expectation of being able to trade out of it, being very much dependent on the individual situations at the time. I suggest their reputation is so bad that even with capital injected they do not have a viable business moving forward.

I have a cinch crankset with 30mm hope bb works spot on. With cinch you can use either a boost or standard ring, cranks run either.
