Dropped some out which gave me about 30% and although I got a bit more it was only a small amount and the ramping effect at the end remained. I do not really want to do more than 30 on only 120mm of travel.
Have you spoke to the manager as that to me is bang out of order. I use Leisure Lakes in Derby and the nanager there (Andy) has always been really good at sorting stuff out for me.
sorted it Rob, I will be in Ashford on Thursday night. Riding from the sports club car park at 6.30. In the pub on the corner (can’t remember the name) at 9 30 ish.
Landegla should fill about 90 minutes of your time. We linked the Marin and penmancho last week which we really enjoyed some good natural stuff in between the 2
I used to have the same problem on a specialised pitch, if I tightened up the hope to much the post stopped working. I changed to a thomson bolt clamp and it cured it.
I have a t120 whyte and rang them about running a longer fork and they said anything up to 20mm longer on any frame would be fine and it would invalidate my warranty. Specific to Whyte I know but seems likely you will be fine.
They can be adjusted internally 120 140 or 160 but 18 bikes drilled the adjustment rod thingy for me at 130 so 150 would be possible. They do have a long ac anyway so they are 20 km longer than my Reba for 10mm.
I am 5 rides in on mine set at 130mm (mod) really impressed so far, running at 85psi at 93kg. They are stiff and plush, particulary good on small bump stuff and seem to hold up well in the middle of the travel. Paid £409 for them which is a real bargain only problem for some I can see is they are tapered only.
I have held the zee and they did not feel to bad I think Shimano claimed weight is about 900g (not sure if that includes bb etc). My mate sold the 36 ring as well for £15 so bit cheaper still if you have one already.
To many to remember all of them. The best = 2010 Spicy although my whyte t120 is closing in. Worst a heckler just felt wrong as did a chameleon, alptitude, inbred, pitch the list goes on.
I know its not a 140 mm bike but since it my bike that rob now rides I qualify :-). Whyte t120 with slants set to 130 mm and Tricon wheels 25 lb, 67 deg head angle. I ride all the same as I did on the pitch just takes less time.
Got a Whyte t120 in January had a pedal round on the 29er one they do and did not like the feel of it (trail bike of the year no less !!) The ridicule of my mates would have been to much to bear if I had got one anyway. Just planning a 26 hardtail to go with it.
1996 hardrock sport, bb knackered, no front brake, middle and granny ring bent and don’t take a chain. Rust everywhere. I do 120 miles a week commuting on it. Think most days I must get something better but never do.
