I ordered a set of brake pads once and ended up with 2 pairs of nano tech pedals, result 8)

I have ridden both (bronson/heckler) and they are to me very different, the vpp design gave far more traction and better pedalling manners. I would go for the bronson out the 2, I also rode the tallboy2 which I thought was brilliant

I have charged about 80 quid for sourcing all the parts (cheapest option ie merlin/chain reaction etc) and building. It appears I am too cheap. Cash up front for me though for the parts.

I have just ordered a set of spank oozy’s in 29 flavour only £270 on chain reaction for the 2013 ones. No experience of them but the reviews are good and I figured worth a punt at the price

Thinking about getting one of these and wondered could the problem be with chain growth on some full suspension designs ?

If you are not commuting and time does not matter I would get the 29er, more versatile and if you other bike is bust you can still get out.

Demoed a Bronson c, tallboy ltc and going to order a nicolai helius tb. Out the santa cruz’s I would have the ltc, I did not get on at all with the bronson in fact I would keep my enduro in front of it.

Parka moor / tiberwaithe, borrowdale bash, grizedale not the trail centre, langwith/rydal there is loads. In Ambleside the biketreks shop should be able to sort you out

18 bikes do them to so looking to go through them, Simon from nicolai said the tr will handle almost anything apart from hucking.

He said it was more down to the componenets on the frame as they are built burly.

King of biscuits – they are taking orders for the ac in 650b for delivery Aug I think. I considered plastic myself and really enjoyed a tallboy ltc I tried but just fancy a nicolai to be a bit different.

That’s awful, a very bad day for cycling in the peak and terrible for the families and friends

Lucas that was me, got a bit carried away on the beast which led to over the bronson s bars. I thought the ltc was wicked and think I am going to go for one to.

Personal guarantees often lead to further problems in insolvency for people who give them and then pay them off in preference to other creditors with company money.

I rode the tallboy ltc and bronson c back to back today on a demo. Had a couple of hours on each. The main thing I noticed was the stiffness compared to my al enduro. The bronson was not right for me but in the right hands no doubt a great bike. The lt on the other hand I thought was brilliant and I am considering parting with the cash for it.

Me to this year and have given the go ahead to get something fancy with 2 wheels. Considered a new road bike before realising I don’t actually enjoy it that much, just a means to get to work and stay a bit fitter.

So test riding carbon Santa Cruz’s, Intense etc at the minute. Quite a step up as I normally spend 500 quid on 2nd hand frames.

I have had 36 floats, 2 step Lyric’s and 55 ti Marz. My current forks are pikes rct3’s and for me they are a mile better. I do except that others may prefer Marz, fox whatever.

Your assessment in general needs to be more than a quick go on someone else’s for a decent comparison though. It is possible that Hora is just a lot better than me though and able to differentiate to a higher level 8)

Rush up edge is a bit exposed but I would stay of that at the minute anyway the rest of the route is fine though especially with the arriving heat wave !

My experience of shimano brakes is that they all do it sometimes straight away or after a few months. Never bled any other brake more.

I have a 2011 enduro with new pikes on its a great bike. Run 1 x 10 and it climbs well all over the peak and it is far mor capable than a stumpy on the way down.
