I test rode a carbon lt and it changed me to a 29. I could not afford the carbon though and went for a Banshee prime in the end which I really like. that or a phantom are worth considering to and a bit cheaper.

I would go with the voodoo with the better fork, the only way to something “better” would be 2nd hand.

They are for people from London who can afford it and can’t figure out where they are going. I am with you ton they seem overpriced to me.

A prime is nearer the codeine than the phantom. I have just got a prime it’s very good so far.

Yeah a prime nearly went for the phantom but just fancied a bit more travel in the end

Cleanest bit of the house that you should see the back garden. Seat post is high I am 6 1 and the frame is a large. I just have very long legs, long arms and short body, not a pretty site!

Thanks donk could not figure out how to get the pic to do that

Specialized command is worth a look if you don’t mind not having infinite height adjustment.

    +1 for a banshee prime

I was thinking of getting one of them, not now. If he knew it would happen does it not state on it or any paperwork to protect the fork accordingly.

Banshee Phantom or a prime (if you fancy a touch more travel).

I just bought a new bike in frame and parts form. Done on 0% credit card for 15 months, I got 20% of the banshee frame and similar on the forks for not taking them in shop credit and the rest from various online shops. I will the pay it of over the next 12 months roughly. Could only have afforded about 1500 up front but this way I have been able to spend twice as much and pay no interest

My mate had the same predicament and entered up buying a 135 and having it milled out so he had one for the mega, he could not get one anywhere (betd included)

In normal fashion recommend my own Banshee Prime which I have not even built yet, looks good though :), bit less travel on the phantom which looks good as well. You can easily achieve a decent build for 3k.

Ironic that you have to many problems with rshox and your Marz are away for 3 weeks under warranty. You want some mrp stage anyway like me!

I would drop the lowers off and have a look at the seals etc, they have very little oil in

My mate had a large bandit which fits him just right at 6 1 although I think the covert comes up a bit shorter. The bandit is really solid and capable bike so worth looking at that as well as the covert. I have just bought a large prime which is a bit longer and aimed at similar stuff. Can’t comment on the ride as not built up yet.

I had a similar problem and found the d30 661 ones best but they did not last that long as I had the Velcro strap not on the Velcro. I have xl nukeproof now which are alright for a couple of hours but start to feel a bit restrictive from then on. I tried poc, fox to which were to small at their biggest size. I tend to just not bother now.

New links on the banshee now so bearings not bushings. I have just ordered a phantom with 105mm rear and 67.5 ha which may suit you, they do an xl to.
