If anyone could commit to a whole BH weekend in the future, I’ve been pondering on doing a QED weekender (Quantocks, Exmoor, Dartmoor).

Played professional rugby for a couple of years when I left school and also spent 3 seasons snowboarding, so soz lads. If it makes you all feel better, I soon discovered it’s much more fun to turn up and have a laugh with your mates on a saturday than have to worry about win bonuses, sponsors, etc.

However, I regret not taking more foreign surf trips. The missus won’t surf anything but sandy beach breaks, so I’ll never get to go to Indo.
I also wish I’d learned to wheelie when I was a lad.

I was riding with a lad on a 29er recently. Coming through the singletrack, I was right on his arse ’til we hit a load of stutter bumps where he pulled away with ease while I was having to pump my wheels through them. Made me definately think about going up from 26″.

I’ve never tried booze-free beer, but after reading this thread I’m keen to give it a go now. I find just a sniff of alcohol gives me a hangover, but I quite like a shandy now and again.

I’ve suggested (in conversation) that every boy should be ‘clipped’ at birth. Then you have to meet a number of social parameters/criteria (job, education, somewhere to live, etc.) for the sterilisation to be reversed and then to be given the chance to produce offsping. That should remove the wheat.

As for culling obese people, my BMI is presently 29.9kg/m2. When I was playing rugby (and considerably leaner than I am now) it was ~33. I’m glad Trimix never came to watch me play. Sniper in the grandstand anyone?
