My Vango Alpha hasn’t got a mesh inner, it’s lightweight windproof nylon. The outer is a more sturdy fabric. This tent will withstand a strong breeze. The Banshee sounds like a hot climate/high summer tent.

I like cheap tents, “numpty” isn’t inclined to try and nick it!

It depends on your body geometry! Long legs short body? Short legs? Proportionate legs to body? This all makes a difference, really!

I am 6ft 2″ and would be better off on an extra large. I currently have two large MTB frames. One feels bigger than the other, but they are from the same manufacturer. Measure the stem to seat post as this makes a significant difference to how big a frame feels.

MTB frames are sized smaller than a road bike and it makes a difference what sort of riding you intend to do.

Try a few bikes out and look up online information about frame sizing. Find a good shop that know what they are talking about.

It’s frame size not wheel size that counts here. You can tweak things with different length/angle stems, bars and seat posts. Compare the reach between steerer and seat post on your shorlisted bike frames as this is probably the most crucial measurement.

Try and get clued up with as much info about frame geometry and matching this to your physical dimensions.

Also ride the bikes you have shortlisted.

Finally, find a shop that has the expertise and time to get things right for you.

All women know that anything more than the occasional small amount of alcohol will harm their baby – the doctors tell them, as do the midwives at the pre-natal classes! The trouble is the mothers that ignore this aren’t just stupid, they are just too selfish and immature!

Was a certain well know celebritie’s baby disabled by his mother’s well publicised heavy drinking? I don’t know, but we can be sure she totally ignored all the learned advice!

I know someone who smoked during pregnancy. Her child tragically developed a brain tumour and died at the age of 18 months. It was trully horrible! What a txxt to smoke during pregnancy! How many babies get brain tumours eh? The mother was not disadvantaged whatsoever, quite the reverse.

I bet someone will say i’m jumping to conclusions about a mother’s pre-natal behaviour, but WTF!

Why not visit Thetford forest, but stay somewhere where your bike will be safe?
