We’ve had a cockerel for the last few years and they’ve been great.
    Also great for baudy jokes.

We’ve got them in stock – or if you don’t want to pay the UK extra I can lend you one until you get yours from abroad.

fashionable thing to rehouse a rescue dog

That may be the case Chris – I can see your point. I was all for getting a puppy until a mate who’s a vet with the RSPCA in Bristol told me some stories.

    Re-homing for me.

Its not just DX, HK customs has a big backlog apparently

Not true – it’s just that DX make to order, then use the cheapest possible delivery method.

One of our suppliers messed up an order of ours last week and had to send a box to us quick – they sent it Saturday and it arrived on Monday morning via DHL.

Agreed. Ice on water bottle every time I took a slurp, then icecream headache. To think I paid to do it too..

Good luck mate. If you see a blue VW van following you, it’s not me……

Weirdly going through the same as you iDave.

spokebloke compared to the interior of a caravelle the shuttle is much more basic looking. They still have all the features you mention but proper caravelles are much more luxurious inside.

Been in both and didn’t notice any difference in trim – are there different levels?

As for the tax with the shuttle you get the best of both worlds – classed as a van (cheap tax) – go over the Severn Bridge and classed as a car.

Got an 07 Shuttle – not sure what SteveH means about basic – full aircon front and back, cruise control, plush carpet – much better than a van with a layer of cheap cord carpet.

Mine’s LWB which means 4 blokes and 4 bikes (2 in boot, 2 on rack) and tons of space.

Buy a 2 year old one like mine and it’ll cost about £12+VAT, as opposed to £25k new.

If you’re reading this thinking ‘what’s a PDH?’ and ‘where do I live?’ – I’m bringing the average intelligence quota down with you.

I thought she came over well.
I liked the name of her co-production company too.
    Knockers Productions Ltd. Classy.

I’m really sorry about this but it was my fault.

On the 15th August 2004 I went cycling with my family and local friends from Wadebridge to Padstow, and in the afternoon we made a detour through Boscastle. It was raining quite hard.

Even though we visit our friends in Cornwall 3 or 4 times a year I’ve never bothered taking the bikes down becuase the kids were awkward ages. Until last weekend. We did the coast to coast ending up in Portreath, then back to their place just outside of St Austell. They swam to work today.

Sorry Matt – not ever taking the bikes down there again.

On my second pair of these Sombrio
And for £11 they’re magic. Fine down to about 5 degrees, and wore them most of the summer. Not padded though, and go a size larger than you’d normally have.

Bludgeon – I can make it at about 1.30.
How long do you want to ride (I’m hoping to get 2 hours in)?

Hoping to have an early afternoon ride from North Nibley on Friday 5th November if anyone is out. Early being 1pm ish

Planning on riding one of these: Wotton-under-Edge

    Either easy or medium route.

This is my local. Might join you if that’s OK?

Even though I sell the Wingnuts it doesn’t sound like one would help if the pain starts in the lower back. Wingnuts place the weight of the pack on the hips not the shoulders.

I’ve got a demo Hyper 3.0 you can try if you want – give it a scoot around for the weekend.

Yep, that’s why I said ‘very true’ – it is all down to basic parenting skills. My point is that it’s not just obesity you need to worry about.

Its not the games that cause obesity, its the parents lack of parenting skills that cause that

Very true, but it’s not obesity I’d worry about. A lot of my son’s mates are allowed free reign on consoles but struggle to hold a conversation.

IMO 5 years is way too young – I’d consider 7 or 8 a minimum.
If you go the WII route (and yes, we have one) it has an in built timer so you can check usage.

Advantages of cable free – no top tube ‘rubbing’

Just saw an Exposure ad extolling the virtues of their ‘CFD’ – cable free design.
At the bottom it shows the remote switch it comes with……priceless.

I would not want anything that has a cable now.

    Um, your bike?

Don’t get the coke can on the bars thing myself.

Just ‘phone them up and say you’re working for ‘X cycling website’ and they’ll sort you free tickets.

I doubt it, they’re tight this year.
I gave out my freebies a couple of weeks ago via our newsletter, asked for more and was turned down. Luckily I’m pretty good with rejection. 😯

Pipex were ace years ago – until they sold out to Opal (read Talk Talk) – they are now utter shite.

Spent 23 minutes on hold the other day to be told that I had called the wrong number. They then gave me the same number to call and cut me off. Avoid.

    Hello my lovelies.
    Glad you’re liking the light.
One of my jobs was to re-write the instructions – but ran out of time.

The fade down onto the low setting takes about 5 seconds – I didn’t think it was dimming at all when we received the prototype, but it does….

The light goes from green to blue fairly quickly, but it’ll stay blue for ages. 8 of us were out the other night, 5 of them had Spokelights and they were into blue for over 2 1/2 hours. I was the only one who forgot to charge the night before……

As for the velcro, it’s not velcro – it’s this new dual lock stuff. Seems like it doesn’t stick – but it’s like poo to a blanket. Never had a battery pack come off, but I would say that….

Still waiting for an answer. Two appearances since the question was asked and no reply, not particularly impressed.

I’m sorry, but on the product page it says in big letters ‘FREE DELIVERY’.
I try to make the website as clear as possible – obviously I have failed.
I am not impressed with me either…..
