Pila. It gets far better weather than the pds, no crowds and the riding is great :)

    +1 for Ciclo Montana.

Was out there two weeks ago.
Great riding and fantastic set up – will definitely be going back again :)
Marco tailors the riding to your groups ability…if you all ride extreme then you’ll get extreme! However, if you want something more laid back then there’s plenty of brilliant trails to do :)

Yep, doing this years PDS with a couple of mates.

Starting from Morgins on the Saturday.

I’ve previously ridden most of the circuit but it looks like it’ll be a good laugh with some good nosh and great views :)

+1 for Ciclo Montana…fantastic “old school” technical riding.

Spent last week out there and planning the return trip already :)

You might have a bit of trouble with the police/army patrols in the area back from the coastal tourist strip of Hurghada.

They’re pretty hot on security, well tooled up and bored….not a good combination for a relaxing bike ride!

There’s also a water tap at QECP. It’s on the wall next to the cafe’s kitchen door (to left of main visitor centre entrance, past the bins) :-)

I did look at the Strive but I’m 6’3″ and a bit too tall for it

Are the 150mm DRCV forks really that bad? My 2012 Fuel has the 120mm DRCV forks and they ride beautifully!

Simply the worst outfit I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with…

I ended up paying a tenner for the privilege of letting them have my £300 for four months with the never ending promise of a pair of mythical wheels.

    Bare faced lies Excuses included:

…been dispatched already (unable to provide tracking details…they used this excuse three times!)
….waiting on parts (hang on..I thought they’d been dispatched?)
….lost my address (they were beginning to run out of excuses by this stage)
…..lost my details (…ran out of excuses)
….no one there to authorise my refund (this was a good one and they ran with it for about 6 weeks)

I really hope you can get your money back….

Super dry last night around QE.

There was rain earlier today but it’s been so dry here recently it’ll soak in quickly and the now the sun’s back out 8)

Usually let out enough air to take tyres down to approx 10-15psi with no problems.
Just saves a whole world of grief if they do ask to open up your bike bag/box.
