the route across the top isn’t that nice, good if you like trials riding or pushing. Generally speaking the walkers on the Stipers are not the professional whiners you find in the more popular areas.

PM me I may be able to suggest a alternative.

“staying at the Bridges YHA”  “Long Mynd isn’t that far away but would rather keep any driving to a minimum”

The Bridges (the The Horse shoes in old money) in on the Mynd :-) You have got the Mynd, The Stiperstones and Eastridge right on your door step. No driving.

Drop me a Pm and come up with some routes for you later.  I’m off to ride my bike in Eastridge now:-)

No, I have always rated them, I’ve had them on pretty much every car I’ve had. Some of their range are still make in the UK as well.

Wow Drac, you have shocked me. I would have thought you were a bit more grounded than that.

The industrialized killing of animals for human consumption, is just what it says on the tin. The end result – a dead animal, is pretty much the same and being shot on a Scottish Island.

However there is suffering caused by how we make it more convenient for ourselves.

Like Soma I’ve been a vegetarian for since my teens, 30 plus years.  That’s my choice. If you want to eat meat that’s ok, it’s your choice. But be realistic about the process. Pigs are smart animals, they know the sound of another pig suffering. That’s what they will hear at a slaughter house.

Ok back to the original point. She makes a living by advertisers paying money for attention. So that’s what she is giving them. Looks **** to me thou.

“You can also add the £40 a bottle finishline stuff to the list of I won’t be buying that again.

Was thinking of trying some in place of Stans.  What didn’t you like about it?”

The price, I was sold it in a LBS I mean SOLD it as being a the next big thing, fit and forget, last the life time of the tyre, etc.

I won’t work with any other wet sealant. so you can’t top up.

In use I had to work quite hard to get it to seal holes, and on two occasions ended up fitting tubes. Both holes later sealed with standard Stans.

“I’m guessing it’s schwalbe doc blue”  but it isn’t blue, Its the same colour as Stan’s for some reason.

The OP is thinking of Uberbike. That’s blue and average.

You can also add the £40 a bottle finishline stuff to the list of I won’t be buying that again.

    Back to Stan’s and happy.

The waste of DNA has got a massive drop coming….. I still can’t understand how he allowed on TV after the NotW phone hacking….. he should only be on TV with either a blanket over his head or as a artists impression.

“I really don’t know why they’ve done Jacobs Ladder that way round”

Because it would be carnage sending 6-800 down it. They have to strike a balance  between fun and super techy.

“I’d rather ride up a hard climb thou than push up JL.”

I’ll have to get an Ebike

Yeap try pushing it up JL!:-)

Mccraque, it doesn’t really matter, 100mm Ht to 160mmFS, just depends on how fast you want to go.

Teamslug. If you are there early on hardstanding, or later on in the sports field.

The full route 3-4 hrs depending on the route. But you are talking about a fair selection of the fastest XC riders in the country.

But hey, its not a race.            ( but it is…..ssh)

Clean the threads out, really clean – toothbrush and GT85, then oil them and work in a old square tapered BB with a steel shell, little by little. plenty of oil and take your time.

if the threads are still ropey, try a Saint BB as they have longer threaded sections,

Looking at the lads – he has a 34T oval on a 11speed Sram set up.

The max point of the oval (about a 36T) is only 3mmish away from the chain stay. so a round 36T is going to close with little mud clearance.

Give the car a good wash, detergent and hot water.

then clean the tar off, I use white spirit and plenty of rags.

Wash again with detergent and hot water, no need to dry it off.

Then use a clay bar, this time of year there’s normally an offer on at Halfords. I like Meguires they do a clay kit, Autoglym is nice stuff, from then on its about how much money you want to pay.

Likewise with polish, wax and sealer.

that’s easy, when do you want it?

Tripster’s are probably in stock, so you should be able to get one in the next week.

Bokeh. you are looking at a loooooooong wait, many months. Order now you might not be riding it this summer.

    which is a crying shame.

I’ve got a Sync which is beautify made if that helps, I’d buy a Tripster based on the build of the Sync.
