    Isn’t that odd eh
There’s a chance that the young gentlemen have got trackers on their cars to reduce their insurance.
That may give a fix on the cars location.
Also I bet they will gob off on fb as well.

Excuse my ignorance but how does Now tv broadcast?
We have crap terrestrial tv coverage so sky has been the go to provider via the Satelite.
Does now just use the broadband?

They are now quoting 3 years on frames sold before Feb 2019, which is not what I recall from when I I purchased mine 4 years ago.
Not a very happy camper at the mo.

Ordered a chain and a BB at the beginning of the month, and nothing, no response.
Chased them last week, 35mins on hold,
“the bb is out of stock”
but it was instock when I ordered it-
“it wasn’t we don’t carry those, we order them in. We’ll send you the chai ring today.
    Nothing, no despatch email, nowt.
Yesterday a despatch email on the BB.

For future reference I will file them with Tredz.

2 people in the car…. so that’s ok then.
On Saturday I started counting the number of multi occupant cars… 8 out of the 1st 10. Then I gave up.
Mum dad 3 kids and the dog…

The speeding thing is odd. I’m still out and about with work, but I’m driving super slow. There’s no traffic so your journey time is still shorter. But you are not holding anyone up either.
What’s the rush. It’s spring take it all in.

Boxing day up early for a ride, frosty morning. Puncture. Tyre lever snapped and the broken bit hit me in the eye.
For what ever reason my glasses hadn’t steamed up and I still had them on.
    That was a win.
Scratched the lenses deep enough to ruin the glasses

I re-watched the end of the women’s elite with my son on a Polish feed, the commentary was a flat as a pancake. Just like nothing was happening.

    Some excellent ideas above.
I’ll throw in PGL. Not a career necessarily but could be a great experience.
BT (openreach) was mentioned above. The first round of selection is online tests. You might want to speak to someone first and ask how diverse the company is/ if they are taking people on from outside the mainstream of education etc etc.
I’m not explaining that very well sorry.

If you are at home doing this bring the wheel in the house and leave it somewhere warm. The tyre will be more flexible.
Likewise if putting a tyre back and it won’t seat.

    Fuel filter .
Was it a euro parts one? Or similar?
Buy HI quality one or a gen ford one.
The cheaper ones can give alsorts of problems.
Also get a hand pump to prime it.
Think Austin powers. 20 quid and effortless.

    Any tips?
Yes, bring a coat and some grippy tyres. Its weeeeeeeeing down.
    phone yes,
navigate- follow the signs for the red. its tough hardly any flat, either hard up or hard down.
you will spot lots of off piste as you go round. some has been blocked off, please don’t ride anything that’s been blocked.
Do the red, have a breather then go free style. but some of the off piste routes are really steep, if you are not sure have a look.
if you park in the habberley car park you can take the fire road from the opposite end to were the red starts for a less demanding climb back up. if you keep going up it will take you to the top.
roughly speaking the hill is a cone (it isn’t but for this purpose) if you ride down pretty much any trail and turn left at the bottom you’ll pick up the fire road to the top. from that you can find the car park.
the pub in Hadderley is nice for a beer but doesn’t do food.
try the stiperstones inn and Johns shop next door.
message for a route to the pub and back

“Bromont argued that Jauvin was at fault for attempting to climb down and that if he had waited the hikers would have been able to help him”

So.. their defence was “don’t worry someone will probably walk past and help you.”

Maybe he was minding his own business and someone who wasn’t paying attention got a bit to close to him or his loved ones. So he moved. Then it happened again.
Maybe the person not paying attention was so wrapped up in what they were doing they didn’t realise they were being annoying and irritating to the people trying to share the same space.
Then the inevitable happen and there was conflict.

Maybe this could have been avoided.
But then we wouldn’t have the joy of this thread.
