The main problem with an extension is that it will block out most of next doors light. Otherwise it would be a good idea

    Cheers guys

my house is terraced so there would be no separate access for the annexe. We are fine that the access would be through our house. The plan was to use our gas, elec and water supply but have a separate boiler. Didnt realise about council tax. I thought that as it wasn’t a separate address it wouldnt change. Will look at that though. It will not be done as an extension though

I also have the pro carbon. I did a lot of searching and couldnt find anything else as good value.

However, Ribble bikes did come close

Cheers for the link to the mbuk subscription, I was going to buy the shorts anyway so now I have them cheaper and some loo reading material!

Moonsaballoon, I dont have any endura shorts but my other madison shorts fit me perfectly. I am a 34 waist and I wear a medium if that helps

Oh, and I live in Portsmouth but would still do the calais route!

The journey time is about 5.5 hours from Portsmouth. I used to work on P&O ferries when they operated the route.

when we went to the alps we used the channel tunnel. It was so easy and fairly cheap if booked in advance. Once you factor in all the traffic getting on and off a ferry time wise the tunnel cant be beaten

Yep, and it was a brand new tyre. I’m gonna try with a compressor when I can get my hands on one. Can’t fault the tyre in use though

I used one on the front most of last summer and it was fine. Still gripped well. I’m like you and don’t really change my tyres so the baron’s stay on pretty much all the time

I love continue baron’s at this time of the year. Loads of grip and clear pretty well.

The black Chilli versions are expensive but wear well so pretty good value. If I could get them to inflate tubeless they would be perfect!

again, more of a Rugby fan, but I was born in Portsmouth so support them as my local club.

With their well documented fall from grace, I dislike pretty much everyone that was at the club prior to the fans buying it. Owners (whether they actually existed or not) managers and most of the players!!

I got mine from rose and it came with the inner cable only

as bigblackshed has said, only one type and it is multishift

    +1 for Wotan’s

I had a set before and the remote adjustment was really good.

Forks were a little heavy though

I bought a challenge xtreme petrol one from argos this weekend and so far I’ve been impressed.

My garden was extremely overgrown and it got through it all with no fuss, best thing was that it was 69.99 which is the cheapest I could find.

It also feels very sturdy against the black and decker electric one it replaced
