For years i’ve been using :

WD My Cloud NAS > Bubble UPnP > WD TV Live Media Client > Cyrus 8DAC Integrated

works a treat and the network side of it cost very little.
The client has digital outs so I can bypass its probably low quality DAC and use the on board one in the Cyrus (you may wish to add a seperate DAC to get the best out of your Quad)
I can control the client with Bubble UPnP on my smartphone or tablet switching between local libraries on that device, the NAS or any other device on the network.

The front wheel axle is currently a home brew M10 bolt in setup but I will send with qr or 9mm caps instead.

The rear is a an SS specific hub setup 10mm bolt up with a 16t sprocket. The rear rim has a slight ding in it but otherwise true.

Happy to sell wheels separate as have interest in front.

The Vagabond will likely be the better choice for commuting but I found the Stooge a lot better on roads than I expected especially being setup 29+, I commuted on it 50/50 Woodland-Farm track/road 8miles a day for over a year.

Take it off road and it will run rings around the Vagabond so IMO the Stooge would be the better all rounder.

So many ways to build the Stooge yet mine has done everything from the commute to Antur Stiniog without much more than adjusting the saddle height.

I’m getting rid of mine now but I’ll be building another in the near future, I’m completely sold on the Stooge ethos.
If you’re thinking of something a little more mild mannered than the Stooge then maybe take a look at the Swift from Singular.

    Master P
Ive just listed my MK1 stooge on the classifieds(you may have seen it in the Stooge bible). I’ve had a number of people interested in the frame but i’m undecided wether to split it or not.
If you are interested in any combination of parts let me know it may aid my decision making.

No difference performance wise but I always use them, I think they look good but also they offer a bit more protection should you have a crash catch them etc standard hoses could kink or split easier.

Yeah don’t bother trying it, if you try riding it anywhere other than a canal towpath your skeleton will immediately disintegrate!

You must be a total baddass to attempt Antur Stiniog

    Had a blast a project 417 also.

Yeah me and a few mates are running 40mm rims and 2.4 ish tyres. They fill out nicely on the wide rims, some tread types will “square off” which is noticeable when you lean it over on the hardpack but this is my preferred set up now.

Im loving my WTB i35’s, I’ve also built a set of Spank 395’s for a mate which look sweet.

Bread in toaster, plate balanced on top to warm up, remove before toast pops up and knocks it across work surface, when toast pops skim immediately with non refrigerated butter then the marmite and finally the peanut butter, eat whilst still warm.

I believe the heating of the plate keeps the toast nice and crisp during application of spreads.

Yep there’s nothing that requires a mountain bike very local to Alcester unfortunately. If we go out local it’s usually just linking up various pubs. .

You can head up Oversley wood, 5mins from town nothing up there interesting riding wise although some lads have started working on some of the old lines again fixing up a couple of jumps but little else. Take the track around the perimeter of the wood for the closest to Singletrack you’re gonna get.
If you want to take in some pubs exit past the “castle” and head down to the three horseshoes or the Fish or both at Wixford, a bridleway leads along the side of the bypass and gets you either back into town or up the farm tracks back to the wood.
The other end of town you could head out toward Coughton /Gt Alne over the trig point, linking bridleways will get you over to Aston Cantlow with a choice of two pubs opposite each other. Head back into Gt Alne an pop into the Huffcap then back into Town.

You could also head West out of town past the fire station and up Allimore lane and into Cold Comfort wood, again not much here riding wise but still a nice place to be.
Town pubs, Turks head,Holly bush, Three Tuns, Cross Keys would be my pick, nothing wrong with the Nelson, Dog or the Bear either, well maybe not the Bear.
