I find Portuguese Flannel make some great overshirts. They have a wool section as well as the regular cotton and cord offerings.

May I recommend a very recent release from earlier this month. Endlessness by Nala Sinephro.
Absolutely in love with this album right now.

    @susepic

Thanks. I’ve been following Vorders for a while…

the post was just to show the note from the ex Tory councillors son. Had issues posting the image on the phone browser but looks like it’s there now if only a thumbnail.

I’ve previously  supported Labour – especially under Corbyn but I’m generally of the thought that you vote them out, not in.

Im in a solid Conservative area and the tactical vote is LD incidentally LD are the only flyers and placards I’ve seen in the area.

I was pleased to see this note from Tom drop through the door.

I don’t get time for much proper riding nowadays but I SS pretty everyday here and there to work and back everyday. not much in the way of hills on the commute but the farm roads and bridleways make for perfect SS terrain and 34:17 is about right.

Have you viewed the actual extracted footage ? You’ll likely see greater detail than of a photo of a (possibly less than 1080p) monitor display.

    Here’s Tsuki.

    She’s very quiet.
usually curled up somewhere fastidiously cleaning herself like a cat.

Will sleep all day, or walk for miles.
    Doesn’t like swimming, climbs trees.
Barks at upturned buckets and flags.
Not a fan of posh dog food.

Yes the censorship is a little strange but I hardly think the forum is “allowing “ the atrocities.

I recently changed my DD to another account or so I thought…
No payment taken this month and my service was suspended. Looks like their entire accounts system is down. I can’t access my account to sort payment either by web or App or even by phone evidently, so stuck without service until they fix it.

For days they’ve been saying it’ll be fixed in 48hrs.

Tried the live chat earlier. No solution offered other than apologies and crediting my account. Told me all customers affected will be compensated for the inconvenience.

“ Last time I checked, Hiut’s 33’s sized the same as our 34s.”

Last time I checked your 32’s were too tight and your 34’ too loose.😉 Hawksmill, N&F, Edwin etc 33” are ok.

Yes, like the look of those new Black horse made M16’s sadly still not catering for odd numbers specifically 33” sizes…

Just noticed some offers at AFPOS
Some NPS (Solovair) on sale there (not the style OP was looking at mind) among others Berwick (Spanish made)/ Sanders (uk made)

No experince of either brand but they look decent – Goodyear welted etc.

Even worse when you have some made to order 🙈

Incidently an email from Trickers just arrived- Factory shop sale announced.
Limited sizes and tend to be some odd / samples on there but occasionally there’s something nice for a good price.
Can’t go wrong with a pair of Stow’s IMO but they always seem to be built on the Dainite sole in the factory shop and I much prefer the ridgeway sole.

    20% off the shown prices

For a similar cost to NPS/Solovair you could look at Lanx too. Some models are Goodyear Welted.
I’ve not owned a pair but have seen them and look to be a nicely made boot.

Yep. William Lennon make the boot for HebTroCo.

I’ve a pair of the 178’s too. Proper solid boots I’ve not worn them for a while though. Got into Trickers over the last few years. Much to the dismay of my wallet !

Hard to say on a yearly basis. I tend to buy decent quality stuff so it lasts years. This year I think I bought a pair of Naked and Famous Selvedge Jeans @ about 170 a Howlin’ cardigan for about the same and some cheap cords.

I’ll expect I’ll get another HebTroCo overshirt as soon as stock comesin. So there’s another 150ish

I have built a collection of trickers over the last few years but they could last a decades tbh.

Edwin 55 chino. Not the cheapest but regularly on sale.

I like Hawksmill. Same sort of quality as Hebtroco I’d say but Hawksmill do a 33 waist so they win for me.

Edwin are generally pretty good but not as hard wearing as I’d like.

We used to sell the EcoFlow power banks they seemed pretty good.
Maybe something like a Delta Pro would suit. If you’re not into doing a permanent solar install you could have a portable panel. If the power cut lasts through the night plug in the panel for a bit of top up.

I fairly recently painted up an old dresser which had been sat in a shed for years.
I’d not really done much painting besides slap dash decorating before but gave it a go.

I took a good bit of time with prep taking it apart, sanding and wiping down. I used Little Greene All Surface Primer and Eggshell top coat.
2 coats of each applied with fine foam roller and small brush and fine sanding between coats.
The horizontal surfaces were left unpainted but treated with Blanchon black hard wax oil to darken the wood and Liberon special effects wax to add back a bit of patination.

Prob not to everyone’s taste but I prefer this to the usual shabby chic chalk paint style.

With the tying of shoelaces, there are two ways of doing a normal knot depending on whether you start with right over left or left over right

I’ve been doing it wrong all my life. Can I add myself to things that make me disproportionately cross

Or at least until I’ve tried this method for a week or two and it works

If that doesn’t work out here’s a few more options.

Vittoria Mezcal is what I run on the rigid SS. Pretty much ticks all those I’d say and at sub 30 quid for tubeless graphene version why not give ‘em a run.

    Edit :
Doh ! 😂 how did I miss that you mentioned them in the OP !

You tried the latest graphene ones ? I’ve found them fairly puncture resistant from what I can tell with sealant doing its thing.

If I wanted a short length of cable for better placement of the adaptor, would that be normal ethernet cable?

Yep. Just a regular Ethernet cable Cat5/6 RJ45

    spectabilis
    Free Member

The WiFi tech in the adapter I linked is likely far superior to the onboard card in the TV. (I’ve had Samsung TV’s with crappy WiFi and running via one of these or similar sorts it)
Still, I expect the OP has the possibility to run a short length of cable for potentially better placement of the WiFi AP too.

Yeah. You want a client mode access point.
    These are good.

Takes a LAN Ethernet connection from your TV and bridges it to your existing WiFi .

Aku Pilgrim doesn’t leak. One of the best boots you can get. Not fully leather though.

I’ve a pair of Pilgrims, great boot. I find them extremely comfortable all day. Lightweight and very breathable. The bi-cast Librasmart rand makes for a super tough toe box too. Love them.

” but you’ve got the microphone right next to your mouth like a regular call. That surely cannot be pleasant for the other participant.”

depends. They could be on the phone to the daft c*** walking in front of me the other day, with the mic end of the phone jammed into their lughole, speaker directed out at the road. That would sort of even it out wouldn’t it?

I care about optics / sensors etc in my proper cameras why not on a camera equipped mobile ? Get the best possible info at source is always the best way.
The thing with the computational stuff is it generally looks ok on the screen of the device it was generated on but looks like dog shit if you want to print it.
manufacturers bullshitting really puts me off. “Digital zoom”🙄

    Another vote for Dually’s here.
Right now I have a mix Dually rear and Halo Vapour 50 upfront, can’t fault the Vapour but the Dually has really proven itself. It’s been on various builds and taken a good beating over the years but is rock solid, some good dings in it but no issues with any tubeless setup. Nice simple look to them too. Not that fond of the etched graphics on the Vapour.

If you head around the headland to Watermouth cove there is a really nice secluded beach called Broadsands. 200 odd steps down through woodland but imo one of the nicest beaches in the area. You can camp at Napps which gives easy access to the descent.
Hele around the corner is dog friendly too.
