The general prognosis is very similar, possible problems in the long term but in the short term its just going to be about getting used to the new leg. In a brace at the mo that lets me move the knee, slowly getting some weight on it so hopefully only another couple of months before I am walking again.

Never done any running so just cycling I’m worried about, plan is to build up some strength again on the road bike before taking the mountain bike out for a bash.

Simple answer, yes you can just takes a bit of force, not sure how many times I’d like to take it off and on as needs some bending to make it shift.

I’m going to go for the 275 version, can’t afford carbon but will be top spec alloy version. A lot of people talk abot the weight but its hard to find out the real world weight on a site of the H10 model.

Hopefully getting a test ride of one this weekend so will post feedback on here.

Mods – can you move it?

Rode the whole loop yesterday, it’s a b*tch of a climb in places but rewarding. Lots a little short sharp steep bits and the downhill is a long way into the ride. Few sections had some trees blown over the trail but I someone had been up there cutting them up so suspect by the official open day these will all be gone. Nice to have another trail there and can be looped into the original easily to create a longer loop.

Very muddy in places near the top which won’t be fixed in the next few days, high rollers were deffo not the tire of choice

I got cancelled but had already confirmed with a charity that I would ride for them so at least I will still be going.

Looks like an overwhelming majority of people didn’t get it which might suggest it was more than three times oversubscribed as their initial press release suggested.

Think the 2011 had a 44mm headtube, that looks normal size. I have a 2010 5 Spot and pretty sure that’s in proportion to mine

Thanks, I know there are a load of good rides on road as there is a group that rides straight from work a couple a days a week.

I fancied riding straight from the front door but doesn’t look like there much. I have on a couple of occasions ridden Cwm Carn and FoD after work but just looking for something quick. Hour long loop would be ideal

Very flat out this way but was hoping there would be some woods close by that I could ride just after work for a change of scenery
