Master socket and a single socket which is an extension socket ? If so the extn wiring/socket is the issue, by removing the lower face plate this disconects the extn from the line

Give it a couple of days, to make sure you have a good stable connection.Have a look on the connections strips on the removed face plate for grot. Also check the splitter if its a damp issue could be gunked up on copper strips.

If you spot an O/R engineer locally ask him for the new 5c nte, with built in splitter, much improved and neater( or if your local to Leeds I have plenty)👍🏼

Have the spotwash duo, great bit of kit, used for dog puddles and spills, also used for keeping on top of high traffic areas, brush head comes apart easily for cleaning, as said suction is good enough to dry to walk on.handy for stairs too

I work for O/R , the 2years blah about copper not been supported is rot, I live in a fibre area ( supposed to be no new copper provides from 07/22 ) guess what!! Lots of people dont want or are not interested in fibre.

Lots of companys/institutions use powerfail copper back up telemetry lines, most lifts have a power fail copper line for example

Will keep me busy weaving copper wires until I retire.
ps the  O/R network has been opened up for other companys to use, they are very carefull and dont damage the excisting network at all 🤣

No need for the old copper Wire & socket to be removed, if its still in good nick.takes away choice. Should only be removed if asked to be removed by homeowner.Sometimes the old copper d/w is used to draw the new Fibre line pole to property, ok if agreed to be removed, sometimes done by lazy engineers, and a lot of sub contractors without permission.

Chain fairly new over and just checked no where near worn, it is a kmc though, but never had an issue with round chainring, tried with clutch on/off , might try the original xt chain(only changed to kmc for gold blingyness)
