Very similar too Ashat, new develpment in Cas just outside Leeds, very good for commuting, Houses sell pretty quick for decent money, and all tend to be sold by 1 estate agency.1 of the agents lives on the estate must be making a killing on commisions

Unite oval here, worked great with xt 12sp chain/cassette and mech. Dropped chain alot, with kmc chain even though well bedded in with original xt 12sp drivetrain

A good chance of getting a charge, as obviously it has been messed around with, depends on attending engineer.

As regard to master socket in hallway, lots of properties, have, throw back to pre BB days.

Would be suprised if thats not affecting your bb service.Grey box is called a bt66 we still use them, its a bit of a mess tbh, try getting an idea which the external orange/white are connected to, if they are going down a pair in the same internal cable that will be feeding your nte( master)

had a v50 T5 with the same issue, no codes/lights, new fuel pumps fitted, all good for a day the started again, pressure checked all ok,some tech tried a tetra clean , solved the issue🤷🏼‍♂️ worked great for a few months, until central locking packed up.chipped it in not much after,i was guilty of short journeys in it though

If its on her land it does require a permision to dig.As Nbt said duct blockage could well be down to shonky driveway surfacing, also some blockages just need a bit of umph to rod and rope

Out of curiosity why did you have a previous egineer out? Cant believe he left all that wiring in situ, and at least not upgraded the nte🤷🏼‍♂️

Box 16 little flappy brown box

it looks like a right galaxy of star wiring going on there, can you take off the nte and take a pic of how thats wired? Could be back wired too off the rear of the nte

    sparkyrhino

Its just old school starwiring,at the d/w fix, used to be a way of giving extn’s without internal wiring (also used to be done internaly too from a old jct box) This is a legacy from pre adsl/vdsl service, can be very bad for adsl/vdsl speed/errors, removing it ,will 9/10 improve speed and issues of high errors

That was a great advantage with the Ay-Up lights you could adjust the two lights to increase vertical beam, shame they are a bit weedy in the lumens

    sparkyrhino

Might as well upgrade to a nte 5c if you can, very easy to fit, push fit for the feed cable no need for any special tool

That cable goes straight through the wall to the outside, where it routes around to a box mounted up high on the wall, out of which sprout the extension cables.

in that case, treat yourself to a new Nte, get a ladder go in the box on the outside wall, and cut all that pesky starwired extn nastiness out, you will gain a few mB’s for very little effort, just follow the cable from the pole and cable feeding your nte, and get rid of the rest

Is the Nte you removed the faceplate from is the only socket you use?, are there any wires connected that have been exposed by removing the faceplate?,if it is the only socket you use,and there are no wires uncovered by the faceplate, carefully unscrew the main socket, somtimes the extn wiring is connected at the rear, but still isolated by taking front plate off.A pic would help👍🏼
