when working on railway a few years back,I was working on a very quiet branch line usually only used for freight trains, there was very little cover so got squat at best place I could.Half way through the motions(I had the squitts), a passenger train came slowly around the junction from the main line onto the branch line(had been diverted due to blockage lol).no time to pull my trollies up,i just squatted there and waved at the bemused train full of passengers,6 coaches full of passengers btw.

Love my steel rigid ss its my first choice for local rides, great when riding with other ss’ers, you can really get a good groove on,and share the pain/pleasure of those long draggy climbs.Running 36-18 find it spot on for me and my location.Fat front tyre, skinny trailraker on back at the moment to deal with the slop.

^^^ the box outside will just be a cover for the connection from the underground cable feed to internal cable, some new properties do have the nte/master socket outside but this will/should be by-passed to bring up to engineering standards, the installer should site the nte5 where best for you/them,cat5 cable can be used to wire extensions.

open the lozenge shaped box,you will see the 2 wires that enter the property in 1 side, and the internal wiring on the other, ensure you have the same 2 wires into 2&5 in your new master socket,
ps there should be 4 wires orange/blue green/brown.you don’t need a ring wire only for extension/slave sockets and with modern phones you don’t need that either.
