We saw a snake/slow worm at dalby sitting in the middle of one of the fire roads too on saturday..! it had slithered off before i managed to get the camera out though.. :(

was the same colour as a slow worm but seemed a bit thin to be one..

went with them years ago and remember seeing Matt (who doesnt work there anymore i think) blast down car park hill… then the trees at the bottom wave about mentally… then 5 minutes later he re-appeared at the top with a broken bike and body and a big grin on his face..!

used goodridge before in some avids but theyre mucho expensive!

the graphics reacted a bit weirdly with my commencal frame when i left it the frame for a couple of days after a wet ride though..

friend of mine has one and its what got me into kiting..

Retro is great fun though.. sure they dont always handle or work quite as well but theyre still awesome fun to hustle along the trails!

in fact ive just sorted out my RTS for a ride tomorrow! :P

think Johnny Rea will be right up there this year with a whole host of others..

dont think Shakey will be doing much this weekend after the big crash hes just had! :cry:

not a huge amount of good riding around Doncaster…

the Don gorge from around Sprotbrough to Steetley quarry/Conisbrough is the only good place (albeit a pretty small area)… with some nice bits of technical singletrack and some short but fun downhill courses.

fairly easy access to the likes of The Peaks… Dalby and Sherwood Pines though!

not a fan of mine…
find it very stiff and had problems with the bolts loosening too when i got it originally and have to do them up very tight and use loctite

theres also not quite enough layback for me on my Meta 5 so the clamps rub on the plastic body of my seat and squeak..

waiting for the ragley spike to finally land to replace it… as it seems a much better design without the opposing bolts of the twelfty

best seatpost ive ever owned is a Kore i got on ebay for £3..

Taking the Missus for her first night ride on saturday night… should be interesting!

then its on with the gladrags and out for Thai food afterwards :D

16" is the way to go!! 5ft 9 here..

16" 456 with a 60mm stem.. hell need to think about the top tube length too as its longer than your average bike on an inbred!

the new 7 LED round shaped lights are stunning!
