Yes that’s definitely Lino, as said above asbestos is hard and brittle and doesn’t have hessian backing

No need for cork in the expansions gaps with laminate flooring, it was generally used to fill gaps that were visible.

Cheers Robbonzo but I went for a Mega TR instead.

I’ve got the Mega TR and I’m loving it, 67 ha with a 150 fork, 13.2 bb, long wheelbase, shortish chain stays, stiff as you like and fast as f%*k. I highly recommend it and I haven’t even got it properly set up yet.

I got my frame today, but I am waiting for a new headset, which hopefully will turn up ASAP.
I will be building it with parts off my old bike and will post up pics and some sort of report.

Yes it looks like they would be charging £5,334,977 on your card, could buy the company for that.

Osmo is good but don’t put it on once a year or you will have too much of a build up, it scratches really easily and can get a bit too shiny, you can use maintenance oils that Osmo make for helping to keep it looking nice.

    Either a Protimeter or Hygrometer.
This your fitter should have as it is an essential part of the preparation before any wood is fitted.

Sorry forgot to mention that the beveled boards stand out more than the squared shouldered ones, I wouldn’t of said they are twee or rustic, just more visible.

Keppoch, Im a wood floor fitter and I lay this type of engineered boards regularly, the 18mm board fully stuck down would last a life time, the MDF backed boards are usually made to be floated over a DPM backed underlay. However as pointed out by others, you would 1st need to check moisture levels in the concrete sub floor and in the base of the walls where they meet the sub floor, the relative humidity of the room @ 20 degrees should be between 45% and 65%.
A liquid DPM such as Sika MB or Lecol sealer should be rollered out and left over night to dry, then use the addesive from the same manufacturer.
The boards with bevelled edges are usually pre sanded so would only need a light sanding after installation and the best lacquer for a hall would be Bona Traffic, comes in matt and satin finish too.
But to be honest here, the chap you have to fit this, should be telling you all of this if he has any idea what he is doing.
    cheers

I hope it’s not stolen, but most people who own decent quality bikes usually know a bit about what they are.

Yes that’s the one, its definitely not a 2011 worth £5500, I know people try to pull strokes on the dreaded eBay but I reckon some poor sod some where is pretty gutted at the moment, just hope they see this or the ad.

Yes but it’s not an ASR5, maybe I’m wrong but I thought better to post just in case.

Cheers, thanks for the imput, there’s a very strong possibility that I could be moving there very soon so it’s good to know, thanks for the curry tip Rubber Buc, I have an excellent curry house where I live now and will miss it.
What’s the winter conditions like, I don’t mind a bit of mud plugging and I know the chalky downs will be slippery, just wondered if that singletrack is still rideable?

Now that’s two very different opinions, where did you ride Grantway?
Hummerlicious is any of that singletrack near a place called Whiteways?
