At least these higher earners are paying for the child care and paying their taxes unlike most of the parenting disasters who are claiming billions from the state.

for SAS insertion on to the Islands read Ghosts (history of the SAS)
it can only be described as a botched F*** up..
and there were no Vulcans involved..

if you are struggling to get bikes on the train..
take the wheels off.. wrap everything up in bin liners.. – its now luggage!

At least you are planning to do it the right way! Inverness to FW is just plain difficult..

Kirro black is a proper XC trail. ok it has some very tough and techy sections in it..
inc Mc Moab (that you can skirt around) but its deffo an XC loop..

and probably the best trail centre loop going.

for the precursor to the full conflict watch
An Ungentlmanly Act – an excellent film and apparently has held quite well to the truth of what happened when the Argies first invaded.

The French sold the Exocets to them. before the war. and promised tehm more. however some back room manouevering prevented further sales.
(to which the RN undoubtedly said THANK F***)

The Belgrano sinking was a political and military statement. Had it not occured the Argies fleet would have been out and many more vessels would have been sunk, ours and theres, meaning many more lives lost.

I forgot to add, the very North coast – Bettyhill and Tongue have stunning beachs and Vistas if the weather is good. though if you want to eat – do it before 8pm or every where closes!

If you are Thinking East Coast there are few hotels this far north to match this one.
Dornoch Castle Hotel

If you want quiet and out of the way you would be hard pushed to beat Glenelg
and this place The Glenelg Inn

easy ferry access to the Isle of Skye.
I havent been on Skye much myself but I have heard there are some really nice hotels there.

I have an 06 Soul (I think might be an 07)
anyway I was running it with 130mm Revs.. sagged to about 95 to 100mm..

and it was good and great to ride.. with an easy wind down option to 100mm for XC race duties as required.

but the Revs needed some TLC like alot of it..
So I took my Lyriks and put them on. wound down to 135 to 140mm sagged to about 115mm..

very different ride – the Revs up front, the bike was nimble and fast through singletrack.
the Lyriks up front – the bike was distintly heavier but it doesnt half plough through a trail with the backend flicking about.. its lots of fun..

I run an 08 – 5 with Lyriks up front..

I rarely drop from 160mm and it climbs very well – with my legs/lungs giving up before the bike begins to struggle.
as mentioned above the front end can go light.. but sitting on the nose of the saddle always helps to keep the front down.
