Is there a guide to doing this? How did you add an SD card reader to an iPod or am I missing an “in joke”?

I manage (just about) to get my Garmin Vista C working on Linux, I can’t remember which libraries I installed but went to the software centre and grabbed anything for Garmin …

KMC chains are fine, I bet its your chain rings. How many miles have they done? Will it shift in the smaller ring?

Indy SL’s were silly light 2.9lbs from memory, lighter than all the Judy’s I used to race with them but they were very very flexy!

Have a look on RetroBike.co.uk they’ll find the market value on there.

In typical STW way “mine is the way to go” look at the GT grade range massive value for money. You can even play on mine before buying ;)

paulx I had a few of the original spokes ping just riding along, so got it re-built with DT spokes and its still going out of true now. Thinking of replacing the whole wheelset. Any recommendations for strong gravel/cross wheels?

Have either of the other Gt Grade owners had issues with the stock rims?

My rear wheel has been rebuilt once already with new spokes and still wont stay true :(

I do, no problem with clutching or not, more annoying is the indicators are on different sides in each car :(

    London_lady I recognise that bike!

My GT Grade set-up for the Dorset Gravel Ride earlier this year.

That’s with Kenda small bloc 8 front and Happy Medium rear which was actually gripped really well off-road.

I would say yes, wheels make the most difference on a road bike IMO and 275g will feel faster.

If you go to Kirroughtree do McMoab on the black bit! It’s awesome! rode it about a month ago and wish I was back there now :(

Wolftrax at Laggan was fun but quite short you end up doing some of it over and over again.

I’m sure you can knock it out in a day, just have another go in a week or so. Weather should still be good then wont it?

Thanks BikeBouy the whole reason for looking at them is that I drove a B class yesterday and loved it, thought the A might be a smaller cheaper version. I’m almost certainly looking at Golfs now after reading a few nightmares!

Think it depends whether you ride mostly on the hoods or on the drops Pete. I think anchor like performance is always going to be compromised braking from the hoods compared to on the drops.

ahh yes I ride a lot on the drops when off-road so that will make a hell of a difference!

I really like mine on my GT Grade, very comparable to my old BB7’s cant compare to raw power of hydraulics though.

Is it perhaps the routing? GT have made quite an effort to remove any bends from the outers on my frame..

Etrex10/20/30 would be the best bet if you want maps and not performance stuff.

Forgot my shirt for the first time today, luckily not meeting anyone important and had an old T shirt in a draw, not as easy to hide as underwear!

We bought our 2.5 Diesel AFT (Pop up tent) last year and have used it loads since and loved ever trip. It is very thirsty and you can easily see a 300-400 mile trip costing £70 in fuel.

Very comfy to drive and sleep in, we have a little side conversion with a fridge and twin hob, plenty of room for 2 adults and a child.

We put the bikes on a tow bar mounted carrier and it doesnt seem to affect the MPG.

Great community, always someone who will now how to fix little problems, and you will always get a wave from a fellow bongo owner.

You can even run them on veg oil!

use http://www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php to view the route much better than OS IMO.
