I like that! probably a stupid question but where is the motor?

Not a T5 but I just upgraded a headunit in my Mk6 Polo and was surprised to learn they all have CAN bus now, so you have to ensure what ever headunit you get has the correct quadlock loom to ISO with an CAN bus “box” to detect the initiation signal.

I spent a surprising amount getting the correct loom for the steering wheel controls to work. So worth bearing in mind when looking at new headunits.

I wish I could be there, Mark was an inspiration, I met him a couple of times, and raced for team bullheart at Mountain Mayhem. He was better than most of us and sent me some incredible messages of support. I miss him.

It’s farcical. I used to spend ages on here contributing, paying for Premier membership and a print sub. Since the website was broken by the current developers I have stopped subscribing and hardly visit the site anymore.

I have no advice, but you’re always welcome if you fancy a holiday in New Zealand with bikes to borrow.

I played on one of these a while back, as it couldn’t believe how cheap it was:

Theres a whole range that are pretty good but not light:

I spent a while trying to find something to suit me, after my Crumpler wore out. I went for a Bagaboo from Ebay, just the best quality i’ve seen.

Given the Spitfire was out of fuel, what would have caused it to go up in flames like that…?

When the pilot fired the flare into the cockpit to destroy it so it does not fall into the hands of the enemy?

What’s the chance of a phone having a signal from more than one cell and not having a data signal?

Depends on what country you’re in and where about’s you are. In reality, the answer could be yes.

Even if it’s connected to one tower you can get an azimuth and a signal strength to help locate.

But unless you have access to that data the point is moot.

Not unless you are law enforcement and request a triangulation from the cell towers.

That’s pretty niche, something like Rob English’s Trans Am bike?

All pretty much bespoke though. What size laptop do you have to take to work?

Loved it, was just at the NZ premier with Edgar Wright and Peter Jackson giving a great little Q&A afterwards. I purchased the soundtrack as some of the tracks are classics I had not heard before :)

The OP asked for advice on online training courses, then clarified that he’s only interested in ESRI products. Loads of people reply saying just download QGIS which isn’t what he asked help with.

I suggest you learn some GIS basics first, before diving into ESRI. ArcMAP is like PhotoShop when you are still trying to get used to paint.

ESRI do some free training: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/57630434851d31e02a43ef28/getting-started-with-gis/

There are a few others offering free courses:
    https://www.class-central.com/mooc/5489/coursera-fundamentals-of-gis

I think it depends on what kind of GIS job and industry you are trying to get into. Try and specialise in one aspect to start with.

QGIS is way great to try and apply some of the concepts you will learn about so worth a download and it’s not that different from ArcMAP really in the same way GIMP isn’t that differant from Photoshop…

If you do look at V40 do not under any circumstances get one with a GDI engine! They are awful, I was forever cleaning throttle bodies, replacing sensors or bodging things to get it out of limp home mode.

Take both, then when one breaks you have a backup and if the hardtail is breaking you can switch to the full sus.

My wife has a blog about how we emigrated to NZ. We’re in Wellington and I had a job offer before applying for the visa. Mine is a work to residence one which is a bit harder to get but much easier to get residency with.

Feel free to email me with any questions…
