Take the kids for a ride round castle Howard bridleways, not to far from stillington. As for technical single-track for yourself head up to yearsley woods, plenty of trails there on trailforks

You’ll need to get a service alteration done by the electric company. Used to be around £300 when I used to price them up, though that was 15 year ago. More than likely need your own sparky to extend the meter tails as well.

I’m using the Moto g7, it runs Garmin connect no problem. If you can stretch to the power version the battery life is amazing

Great to read an owner’s review. I’ve just picked up a pinot noir nx. Which invisiframe kit did you go for, matte or glossy??

Tighten a jubilee clip around steerer and then hacksaw nice and steady using the clip as a guide. 2 minutes with a file to finish off. Measure twice cut once.

Great jacket for the price, I’ve got 2 of them. Use them for both running and cycling. Saw me through winter with just a long sleeve baselayer underneath, never felt boil in the bag to me. Don’t think I’ve ever used the gillet.

I like the look of these too. Reviews are a bit thin on the ground, like to know what you think of yours rocketdog.

I’m racking my brains now trying to think if I’ve ever had a safety document from an engineer called onzadog. Mind you I doubt you would have made it out to solidrooster. Which depot are you out of?

I’m a HV jointer for northern power grid, started as an apprentice back in 80s.

I think onza has about nailed it with the tests. Whenever I’ve seen potential trainees at school they’ve been tested on:

Climb a ladder against a pole, maybe 8 metre ish, belt themselves on undo a nut and bolt then lean back and let go with both hands.

Make off a 3 pin plug on a piece of flex. Make off a piece of service cable into a cutout, after been shown of course.

I think it’s  a great industry to be in, different places everyday. Just be prepared to work in all conditions at any time of the day.

Oh and great tip for leaving his phone in car

Slow cooker great for stews, curries, pulled pork and beef brisket. Gets used a fair bit in our house.
Bread maker is a long term resident of the understairs cupboard though.

Had the specialized zee cage on my trance, it never let me down. Plus you can fit the swat tool as well.

Try putting clove oil on it. Tastes awful but it’ll help with the toothache.

What kind of cables are you going to be laying??

Denso tape will make a waterproof seal. Tools station sell it as petro tape. Or if you want to go pro heatshrink caps.

Ogden. My trance broke exactly the same way as yours, giant didn’t want to know about it. I ended up going for last year’s transition patrol, far better bike imho.

I’d go with Sherwood pines not as much climbing as dalby. The new blue sections at dalby are great, think the last blue section is bordering on red though.
