BHF is just a vivisection business that has made no significant advances in the prevention or cure of human heart disease.
Don't waste your money on them.

can we have some evidence to support your accusations please ?

hhhmmmm, does a dual crown fork invalidate the warranty on your lightweight xc frame???????

    depends on the manufacturer

i picked a 29er one up off fleabay for a reasonable price (non carbon one tho.) with an 1 1/8 steerer

still have my eye out for another 29er one if anyone see's one

also worth checking frame compatability as a lot of manufacturers dont recommend using them with their frames.

where's a good place for a lefty service while we are all here ?

im not against wild camping myself but beware.

Wild Camping in the Brecon Beacons:

    * To camp anywhere in the Brecon Beacons National Park requires the permission of the landowner – this includes areas of open land
    * special bylaws prohibit camping on National Trust land
    * farmers and other landowners may give permission to camp on enclosed land for which there maybe a fee
    * there are a number of camping sites that may appeal to the "wild country camper" and a leaflet listing them is available from National Park Information Centres.

well i really liked it the few times i have ridden there.
just feels very natural like riding in a normal wood but more condensed not like riding on a roller coaster like a lot of man made trails( which are fun but very different types of trail)

    Elite XC racer.
Also, maybe I only go on the days when the really slow people are there.
Or maybe the faster guys are so far ahead I don't see them.

I will re-phrase as 'I've never been overtaken there.'
i was only pulling your chain
there sure are some dawdlers round there.
how are the flys this year. i only go round it in the winter as i got fed up of eating them all the way round
and as for the 25 miles or so. if your used to hilly riding it wont seem very far

I ride rigid SS round there and I'm easily the fastest person on the lakeside

    thats quite a boast 8)
not the rigid ss bit . i have ridden round there on an ss and its quite hard trying to keep up with a good geared rider as its all too flat except the odd bump( not that i'm that quick)

lots of bridleways and two small woods, wakerley and finshade with a few trails in but nothing that will get your suspension moving very much.

went to Kranjska Gora a few years ago there was a pretty good bike park on the edge of town which uses the ski lifts for uplift with various down hill and free ride runs( bike and armour hire too) . some stunning walks and a great pizza place too.
if you get time to visit lake bohinj its stunning( not sure how far it is)

Vitgar Gorge just out side of lake bled is a nice walk to.( easily walkable from bled)

sofaking – that bike is awesome. 29er, drop bars, single speed (?), BB7s – so far so niche. But that fork! Eclectic or what!

i know it looks a bit marmite with the lefty on but it rides really well.
the fork is now waiting patiently for a new frame to arrive ;-)
