If I want to turn right I look nice and early and wait for a reasonable gap then signal and move across so that I’m in the correct lane/side of the road waaay before I actually need to turn. A bit like defensive driving.

they steel ones ride superbly.
easy enough to get repaired if you did manage to crack one.
they also so do a steel jump bike(beatstick) if your that way inclined.

i've had 2 ,still own one and its been fine for about 5 years ( not been ridden for a while as i have too many bikes and its currently forkless) . i saw they guy who owns the other one last year and that was still going strong even with a dented top tube

Ask about the ti ones and you might get a few comments

ussually the route from sat is reversed for sunday with a lot less people as most are still in bed recovering from Sat night

i remember going there about 15-18 years ago when mbuk sponsored it and there were about 400 people there.
very little gets done to promote it these days so its got left behind. its a shame as it a great little town with some great natural riding .

back in the day it was one of the first organized events in the UK but with so many other events/races about if you dont evolve and adapt your not going to pull the people in.

will be back there in Nov for the wobble tho
