2 soul QH weighs a ton

rumoured to weigh around 6lb. not that heavy for an all mountain frame.
swift frames arent exactly light, but because they are well designed they ride superbly

    are they heavy ?

    Is Gordon still there?

saw him riding last year on the saturday.
he hasnt owned the Nuedd for years now . i think he still runs the some of green events stuff but not the wobble as far as I know

Don’t tyres like that have a huge rolling resistance and weigh a ton though?

there is increased rolling resistance , but not as much as you would think. they weigh quite a bit, but both of the above are offset by my grin when riding with them

I rode 35 miles on saturday with quite a few miles of thick mud with no problem

the gas mask was protection against the (light show) vortex that was created by travelling at over 20mph on a fatbike

[/quote]Will I still need ear defenders for a Nate on Tarmac ?- These Nokias are far from ‘stealth mode’.

i rode with double nates today , they are pretty noisy on tarmac, but sounded ace to me 😉

An all original 1988 Fat Chance was bike of the ride (with no mechanicals). Attempts to dismiss it as a ‘Pre Indy Fab’ failed – as Partidge had it “Wings, they’re only the band the Beatles could have been”. Clearly Indy Fab are Wings, only a fool would like them and only a complete twerp would own one, much less two (if you know of a two IF owner, shun them as nothing good will ever come of association).

thankfully I own more than two 🙂

sofaking- you wouldn’t get there, the centripetal forces of the front tyre would stop the earth from rotating.

i could replace the front wheel with a 29er rear wheel . would that help ?

dont try it on a fatbike , you’ll end up knocking all the trees down and flattening the surrounding area

is the rider in sofakings pic wearing a gasmask?

its a gas mask with a special stw tosh speak filter . not much from on these pages gets through it

this happened when my mate tried to pull a sick wheelie at only 2mph as the whole karma of the bike exploded due to too much weight on the back wheel

im on the 27tpi tyre and think it runs really well, but cant compare it to the 120, but compared to a larry because the tyre feels thicker and sturdier you can run it at stupidly low pressure

at £105 each, no flipping way or words to that effect

cozz. i ran with the same combo on Sat and found the rear facing larry comically twitchy in the corners and slipping when pedalling through goop. but the nate is unbelievably planted . i have another nate sat waiting to go on the back but have held off until now

    sofaking

anyone tried pedalling with a nate front and rear yet ?
