Chainline. cant wait to get it now.i like the fact the new 16 can run 29er wheels although not sure how yet

although the G13 felt a very capable bike and would have probably been enough bike for me, the fact that the G16 went up hill so well and was even better on the descents made it an easy decision.
if I only had one bike to ride I would have gone for the 13, but I am lucky enough to have a couple of other bikes to ride too

I had a test ride day on Friday at BPW . Top service from Toby . A very frienndly and knowledgeable guy with a real passion for helping you get the most out of the bikes.
I test rode the G13 and the G16. Both bikes are truly amazing to ride and very capable machines both up and down the hills. The G16 is a lot more bike than the G13 so if anyone is in two minds about these bikes I recommend you swing a leg over one or both. you might be pleasantly surprised

Alternatively I am picking up my G16 this week and that can run 29 wheels. It will have a 520mm reach, 660mm ETT, 61deg – 62 HA with 29 wheels, approx 350mm BB and I can set the chain stay to 450mm, 77 SA. You are welcome try it in that form. unless you are in Scotland in which case that’s harder for me!

is this custom Chainline or can all g16’s run 29 wheels ?

I was lucky enough to have a little test ride on Multispeedstu’s geometron yesterday at bike park wales
After riding my transition bandit 29er all day quite happily I could not believe how stable and planted the geometron felt, making my bike feel quite twitchy in comparison.
the fork sucked up everything , The rear shock was super plush.
i didnt notice the extra weight , smaller wheels or anything negative about such a long wheelbase on the trail when pointing down. it did feel quite a beast on the flat trying to keep up with my over enthusiastic riding partner but I could live with that for the benefits when going downhill.

Chainline. do you know if its possible to test ride a g13 side by side with the g16 for comparison
