Well the weather is supposed to be good. Other than that I’d expect the trails to be muddy in places and dry in others.

I head to Peaslake most Sundays, spending most of my time on Holmbury, Pitch Hills and Winterfold Woods/Heath.

I’ve ventured to Leith Hill to sample Summer Lightning but apart from that I don’t what else there is to spend time on, I always find a visit to Leith to be slightly underwhelming. Is that just because I’ve not ventured far enough off the beaten track?

Is it worth me spending a bit of time mooching around Box Hill and Ranmore?

FWIW, I usually stick to trails like Evian, Supernova and John Baptist/Church Road.

    TIA.

Another vote for South Coast Suspension – sorted my KS i900 (I think it is) very quickly and cheaper than I’d expected.

If I remember correctly, that boggy fire road is the only bit of trail going down the hill.

chrismac – totally agree about Glentress red and black.

I’ve only ridden a few trail centres (CyB and Afan mainly) but I feel safe stating that Gisburn and Ae Forest must be better than the shite that is Bedgebury (nr. Tonbridge, Kent). The only descent is a fire road. :(

To be fair the retailer hasn’t blown a refund out of the water yet. I emailed them a video of the dodgy tyre and the straight rim last night, just waiting to hear back from them.

    Fingers crossed. :)
