Exactly the ending I wanted, Jesse survives, Walt gets his money to the family, I shed a little tear.

Passionately hated my dropper, sold it after a fortnight, I never drop my post, never feel the need.

Its food with me too, I don’t like different foods on my plate touching each other and I absolutly cannot abide bean juice touching any other food on the plate. I have a prison style plate with different compartments at home, I don’t eat out much.

Also If I have a bag of sweets that are different colours I have to sort them into separate colours first before eating.

I have a Netflix and a Lovefilm subscription, most of the stuff on there is extremely mainstream, I won’t be ripping anything that is likely to be on there. What I have is a lot of niche stuff – French and Italian cimema and a load of stuff I shot when I was at college years ago. I went to the effort of transferring it all from Hi8 and DVcam so it seems a shame to lose it all.

    Thanks for all the pointers.

Thanks guys, that’s most of my questions answered.

If I buy a NAS with multiple drives can they be set up to mirror each other so that when I have a drive failure the data will be safe on the other drive?

Had a 307 for 6 weeks, three engine sensors, failed central locking and often I would return to it to find the front windows had rolled themselves down. The dealer ( A car supermarket.) did not even quibble me rejecting it as not fit for purpose, which suggests it was not the first time it had happened.

These days I prefer a more premium car, all be it a few years older, and I tend to go for petrol engines as older diesels seem to be a world of pain.

Dont all beemer of that era rot from the rear arches etc?

    Whereas Pug’s are galvanised?

Why would one manufacturer omit and the other care?

You are right, rust never kills Peugeots, they never get old enough, the electrics turn to cheese long before that becomes a factor.

Platina? I prefer this to the over-restored appearance of many classics.

About the same time in 1984 I was splitting my time staring at the Haro in Richard’s and the Raleigh Vektar in Murray’s just down the road.

    Hell no.

If you are going over to Perth then the only destination is J M Richards.

Old school family firm, brilliant service.

Haribo gold bears and Irn Bru. Also the occasional sugar sandwich for a treat.

It’s never as clear cut as the moral MTFU responses on here would have you believe. Years ago I was with a girl who ticked every box for me, I was utterly crazy about her, but circumstances forced us apart. I still think about her at some point every single day, I don’t think this will ever stop. However I am married to someone else now who I trust respect and adore, I would never intentionally do anything to hurt her. You need to find the right solution for you, no-one can really advise you on this, whatever path you take you will always wonder about the other.

Make sure you shag the new one before you decide. 😉

No need to mention it, everybody on this site knows that The Croft Trail is the greatest piece of urban singletrack in the UK.

I have one of these and I like it, buch more sturdy than the price suggests, spares are available too if you ever need them.

Neuromancer – William Gibson, and a constant ongoing loop of Iain Banks Novels. The Quarry is sitting on the shelf unread as I find it a bit upsetting that it will be the last new book of his I read.

After years of Mondeos, Vectras, Foci and the like I recently bought a BMW 325i Touring.

Its night and day in terms of build quality, refinement and equipment.

Don’t bother with the pleb brands, spend your money on a slightly older premium car.

The one to avoid is the 1.6 TDCI, endless problems with this engine. All the others, both petrol and diesel are fine.

Actually My Wife has a Focus that she treats like a mobile coffee cup skip, has been painfully reliable, 113K on the clock so far, very little work done on it.

Ford seemed to lift thier game with the Focus.

Is it a French car? if it is, there is your answer. Set fire to it and claim the insurance money.

Probably, when I quit Coca Cola cold turkey I had headaches, shivers and shakes.

Fortunately I made the informed decision to get back on it.

I am also an only child, never wanted siblings, never wanted to share and I don’t play well with others.

My wife is one of five, she used to say she felt sorry for me that I missed out on having a brother or sister, which is odd because I always felt sorry for her that she had to share everything with her four brothers.

Linking to the other thread I definately don’t want childern and actually I don’t really like being around other peoples children – there must be a link here, any Psycologists in the house?

Cheers guys, I will get it ordered today and give it a go. As the seat tube is 27.2 I am probably limited to a cheapish one anyway so if I don’t like it then it won’t be a massive financial loss.

Interesting comment about using the knees being a Motocross technique as that is my background also.

Normandy is suprisingly diverse in terms of riding; you will have a great time on a road bike, quiet roads and a bar in every small village to stop for a cider. I would recommend the area around Granville for this sort of riding. However if you google Suisse Normandy you will find miles of excellent, and often empty trails.

So all down to the riding that you want to do really.

Rider 50 here, really like mine, battery seems to go on forever, swaps between bikes easily and the route tracking is very accurate. Buy the OS Maps version.

Its not fashionable to admit it, and in the end a lot of it turned out to be lies, but Lance Armstrong’s books did have a positive effect on me at the time, they definately are a big factor in me becoming a cyclist as an adult.

I find films very inspiring – must be the way I am wired, my two favs being ‘What it takes’ and ‘Ride the Divide’

New 26 Five’ for me. Tried a few 29ers but they made no sense for my stumpy little legs. Not against 29ers, just not found one that works for me.

My first full suss was a Whyte 46, I did’nt keep it very long as compared to the Stumpjumper it replaced it felt heavy and slow, I wish i had given it more of a chance than I did.

Both of mine are very old school,

    Alpinestars Al-Mega XT

And one of those Whyte PRST-1 thingys with the BMW-esque front ends on it.

I suspect I would be disappointed by both.
