The intension is to put them on my singlespeed , which ive always found hard to pedal
    (sometimes get knee pains)
am i right in saying going from a 175 to a 165 may make it slightly easier to pedal in the same gear ratio

And he never cramps now 😳

    Hi
Ive got a friend who had the same problem every time we did a merida or endurance event
He is fitter than me , carries far less weight , jogged etc
I never cramped up ,even went totally spent , but he suffered terribly usually after around the 3 or 4 hr mark
it was becoming so much of a problem he strongly considered not doing the events

After lots of trial and error he found that for him a concoction of
    salt tablets before and during
    Tonic water before and during
Camelback mixture of high 5 , tonic water ,

Sounds alot of hassle i no but it works for him , never craps now

    Hi
Simple enough correct , be careful not to stretch to flexy hose to much
From the pic it looks like you have quite a bit of spare hose there anyway
Remember this ..soap test everything afterwards just case you’ve disturbed anything
(water and washing up liquid mixed in an old muc off bottle will do)
Visit BES web site for any fittings (page 32 has the flexy hoses)

    Hi
Sorry to far for me to pop round and take a look , West Mids
Is it just the meter raising you need done , and not the pipe to the stop cock from outside
If so the pipe between the stop cock and meter (usually a flexi hose) can be raised by doing the pipe work in copper this will allow you to raise the meter of the floor
Hope this helps if not send pics to email address and ill take a look ,

Should of said its never going to be raced
The bike is going to be a winter alternative to singlespeed
The rest of our group already have CX bikes
So you could say its for training only
But any gain our them ill take willingly

    Hi
Should of said the intention is for our group to
Ride a mixture of roads and bridle ways through the
    Winter instead singlespeeding
I’m the only one without a cx bike , I’m worried I won’t like the riding
Position of a dropped bar cx ,and miss the braking power of a Mtb

i agree its all about the geometry on the cove
    i love it
its not to xc or to slack
it just raps itself around trails and leaves you wondering why youve
spent so much on your other bikes

    Hi Its a medium 17.5 i think
i originally had a large but found it slightly to big
im 5.10 and have a 32′ inside leg
And the medium is spot on

If you replace it you will regret it
ive a whyte 19 ti and have to be honest the cove rides every bit as good
Hardly ever ride the cove ,ive stripped it to sell on a few occasions
    i just cant do it

    snap
    Free Member

i no what you mean about the ride
ive got the older version and hardly ever ride it
just cant bring myself to sell
because when i do ride it , it always leaves me smiling

The geometry is spot on, the ride is as good as my Ti hardtail
