Great day out, my lad came second in the juniors race, snakenibble according to Ag….LOL

we were up there last night, Stu and Del were marking out the course, we only called in for sweets to be fair. we did some of FYD backwards, in the dark, with no lights….got some disgruntled wannabe racers slightly miffed!

Penk road blat will be fun after a bit of rain and a couple of hundred tyres…. 😯

I have him on my facebook thang, he sends out updates just like everyone else-some are quite entertaining. He was riding his cross bike in the snowy Aspen region a week after busting his collarbone…he sent me the pics an everything!!!

one has 34 teeth, one 32…..sometimes me and a mate ride in different gears going up the same hill, I have stronger legs, he sits cos he’s on a full susser…..

I organised one in Dublin last year, paintball afternoon, indoor karting in the morning, dog racing next night, two nights accom at a hotel plus flights worked out at £200 each. Options to purchase more paintballs etc…extra, as was beer and food for the weekend. Everyone knew the cost up front and that was that.

I predict that that little drop will be renamed ‘collarbonecorner’. I also expect one or two ‘offs’ on the fireroad descent down to Birches V…Elite rider on your lef……arse! There’s some proper fast bits on the course, and if it does rain…ohhhhh.

Mud’X’s would be good to have on standbye, prob the tyre of choice for most locals during winter/spring.

I have an EX9 now, had it a couple of weeks and am lovin it! My LBS being a main Trek dealer swapped a few parts for me-no problem at all. Maybe drop em a line tomorrow when they are open, they are very accommodating and will deliver anywhere……more or less. In fact a couple of Remedys went to Germany last month, delivered personally!

I’ had a new EX9 last week and treated it to a weekend away at Nanty and Macynthlth(sp)….twas all smiles all weekend. That may also have happened if I’d been on a Lap or Commencal as the weather was tops and the trails dusty!
