I chose sky, purely based on my footy obsession and availability. HD is great too. Virgin didnt cover my area at the time so I dint really look at them so cant comment. Sky service is excellent and tbh, they are all pretty competitive at the momeent.

my HD menu changed couple of weeks ago, confused the nipper for a while as his sequence for Drake and Josh and Spongebob wentout of the window. Its fine though, prefer it now. I keep my phone line on cos I do watch box office filums which can be booked via remote rathe rthan via phone and the small charge Sky put on for manual. Also, the boxing….

Dont know much about the IO ridewaise other than the BB needs changing pronto-shifted a few for my LBS and the owners love em, good winter hardtails.

I quite fancy one of the new Altitude 30's or even the Alptitude…., the red Altitude would look obvious as a new steed in my garage though, but the Alptitude might sneak in under the radar…

In this mornings commute in in fantastic winds and torrential rain, bearing in mind I have full length mudguards on, I wore my Shimano MT90 boots and full length endura overtrousers. Bearing in mind I was mostly pedalling through an inch of running water for 8 miles, I stuck my walking gaiters on under the trousers and hooked onto the botton lace of my boots, feet were bone dry when I got in.

I caught a proper roadie a few weeks back, he was slipstreaming me on my roadrat-he was on a cervelo. I tapped my XT disc brakes and he hit me hard enough to brake my mech off and give me whiplash. The £13 k (estimated compo) should get me a Cervelo too….
