I have XR4s, Scruff has XR2's both run as tubeless, and they do come up big. the 4's are very grippy, good all round tyre, prefer them to the LUST High Rollers on my other bike.

I have one of these as per SteveMorg above http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4.php?query=TR536&vptype=&emulate=accgen&qty=1

impressed with it. I can certainly put 4 bikes on it a site quicker than 3 on the Atera Strada and its solid enough if slightly agricultural compared to the 300 quid plus Atera and Thule's

Snakebite spotted a slowworm on Friday, coming up from Hawkshead to Carron Crag, then got himself a snakebite on the way down.

It was Moor Lane where I punctured, everyone knows Carron Crag is a footpath.

might just be your cable adjuster is wound out or broken (the one on the mech) slippage is more noticeable on higher gears where the cable is under more tension. wind the adjuster all the way in, then out one turn and reset your gears

He was virtually the only rider we saw on the Black route all day

You have to question the wisdom of organising a race at a busy trail centre on shared trails.
