My Remedy 8 was 28lb with coil Lyriks. My new Carbon one is the same but with a reverb, double/bash, tubeless XR4’s etc. To be honest is doesn’t need to be lighter. Quite happy to ride it up anything, all day every day.

Evil has gone Al, and I have a set of King wheels, and a full XTR groupset that I need to hang onto something before laddo starts eyeing the bits up for his bike! Plus Craig is itching to get rid of those big Pace forks….

The Evil felt a tad short, and the BeFe is a tad longer and the black ones look stunning!

So, Soul, roadrat, Soda and now a BeFe.

Nice. I didn’t envisage being Trek owner until last year, but my carbon remedy is a great trail bike, muck about bike, trail centre bike etc etc… and that Slash looks interesting!

when you are a kid, you get ‘dared’ to step up, which you inevitably do and progress.

As you get older, you may improve with your group of buddies, assuming they are still pushing the envelope of course..

Most people who have been on said skills courses are more than impressed with what they have learnt.

Now if someone did a ‘how to manual all the way to the pub’ course, I reckon we’d all be up for that!

    potato on the exhaust pipe.

I’d be careful trying to nobble his car, that sort of action tends to backfire.

I see what you did there….nice one!

Just got back from GT, we stayed at Crossburn , great site/showers/security, easy walk to Tesco/Peebles. Last year we stayed at Castlepoint about 8 miles from Mabie, 20 odd to Kirroughtree, Glentrool and half a mile ride direct onto Dalbeattie red/black.

As mentioned above, they have pods now at Glentress, £30 a night i think, also at Dalbeattie and Mabie.
