    Hi,

I have been away for a couple of days doing some consultancy work for another battery company but back now plus before that I had been snowed under with getting through the backlog of orders as I had a delay with my last shipment of lights. Now on top and gradually getting though the emails slowly. If I havent replied please email me again and I will get back in touch with you.
The lights are only a small division of the business now, but I will answer all the emails sent but please give me a couple of days.

    Thanks

    wisepranker,

Do you have to remove any wheels to get the bikes into the Caddy or a straight fit? looking at a Van and its clicking all the right buttons atm.
    Thanks

I can build anything battery wise… within reason.

Lights (Lumenators) UPS permitting are back in stock tomorrow.. 1 carton got mislaid coming over and they wouldnt release the others till it had caught up ( it was on the plane behind?) They are currently in East Midlands Airport ready for clearance.

Weekend is going to be spent catching up with the backlog, but rest assured by Monday we will be back on track and up to date.

V2’s are in stock and shipped same day if ordered before 3pm (90% of the time)

Jambo I have similar helmet, and still use the velcro straps more on the front than the top, have you tried?

Hi Jam bo, dont think anyone can beat that review in so few words! and everyone who has bought anything related to mtbbatteries.

I have tried to distance my self and be more professional as regards posting comments about my lights. I think its easier and better to let the users pass on their comments than me big them up.

The last few weeks I have had excellent reviews in the main biking magazines . shame it wasnt for the Lumenator but that time will come around. (thanks to fresh goods friday for their Lumenator review though)

It was one year ago next friday was when I decided to hand my notice in at work and start completely on my own – One hell of a decision, but easy one with the year I had had with my mum and dads health.. but bestest decision I have ever made in life.

Its been a big learning curve especially the last few weeks with supply and demand, especially as the Lights are the small part of my growing business – But just as important

Just trying to say thanks everyone who had bought anything mtbbatteries related really. had a couple of chill out beers and comments like Jam Bos, make me realise its been worth it.

Dickie, send me the battery as that will be the more likely problem, I can fix or sell you a replacement a lot cheaper than £200.

Charger wise, dont you think being over 2 years old you would have found out by now?

Please feel free to email if your interested.

There is no cause of alarm with the lights, The lights were on a timer if on the highest setting (after about 7-8 minutes)and dropped to the 75% which was the setting below, This preventing damaging the leds and internals. The newer version has a thermal cut out at about 70C which will do the same thing.
Also the Swedish version, not mentioned is built slightly diferently to cope with the extreme cold temperatures and has a much highgrade cable.

But there is no worry with the lights anyone has bought, and still come with the usual mtbbatteries years warranty and as previous customers have noticed this is extended dpending on the use and care of the batteries or lights that have bought from us.

Thanks for the mentions and orders everyone 8)
Up to last night all pre-orders and orders have been posted.

All orders placed today and over the weekend will be posted out on Monday.

As for reviews, its too late for most of the mags now as they work to a tight schedule and wouldnt appear for a couple of months, so and I prefer it this way is that I prefer reviews and feedback to come from you guys, after all you are the ones using the lights.

But many many thanks for all of your orders to mtbbatteries, I know I have been a bit slow replying to emails over the last few days, but pre-orders with new stock arriving took preference over everything else as i’m sure you will appreciatte.

It is parallel, ie I use 2.6Ah cells so 2P would be 5.2Ah 4P would be 10.Ah.

Series as when youre adding the voltages together, 1S 3.75V, 2S 7.5V …

    Then you get into 2S2P 7.5V 5.2Ah ..

I have the neoprene covers for the batteries, also the fabric pouch with the 2 velcro straps for fastening to the bike.

If you want yours in the neoprene pouch it would be best to post your battery to me as I would have to unsolder the battery lead off and thread it through the hole for it to keep everything enclosed.

Please email me if you need to know anymore information

Thanks for the heads up guys :-)

The first few V2000 arrived yesterday and first impressions are excellent, easy to use controls 2 off to do some tests with them over the next couple of days. 2x XML leds and more than light enough for both helmet and bar use. Photos to appear on FB and the website shortly.

The V2 had a good write up in this MBUK

Any questions please fell free to ask away via email

Yes, loads of the 2.4Ah protected cells in stock.. Built from Samsung 2.4Ah cells, so quality you can trust.

Just be careful when you buy as they may well say 3Ah cells but quite a lot are no way near to this capacity, ive tested some that were just about 2Ah’s

But if you need any let me know or any other information.

    Thanks

Bez, our V2 if you push the button in for approx a second it will switch off, (easy with gloves on) and if you want an extended run time I can build you a custom battery to suit at little extra cost.

Please email me if you want to know nay more information.

Thanks for all of the mentions 8) The V2 is reviewed in this months MTBUK (out today) managed to get a 4 out of 5. Very happy, but slightly gutted we didnt get a 5. but thats the high standards we work to, we will aim to get the 5 in our next review :-)

Any questions please feel free to email me, we also have a V2twin coming out in the next month or so.

As for ordering, I have a fairly large stock, so any order placed will be 99% of the time posted out the same day – if before 3pm – excluding weekends and bank holidays.

    Thanks again for the mentions.
