    Hi Guys,
Troutie, Looking mighty impressive with the bottom channelled out… how about the sides?

At the moment a 15V 2.6Ah £45 and charger £23 coming supplied ready to power a troutelight.
troutie can fill you in for how long it will last light time or I can also do a 5.2Ah for enduros (please ask for price as these are now built on request) .

    And that includes the p&p

Any more question please as myself or troutie 8)

Thanks for the kind comments guys and i'm sure troutie feels the same. I guess were both mtbers and putting our bit back into the sport and making it affordable to go nightriding. I get alot of satisfaction from an email or post afterwards thanking me and recommending me for my work. Most of my builds are now referals so that must say something.

Spangel if you have no joy with dealextreme i'm sure you could post it to troutie to look at or myself if the problem lies in the battery. Do you have access to a voltmeter? if so does it give a battery reading once its off the charger. If you prefer to email me direct please do so

how many did you buy spangles as you say lights?
It would be unusual or very bad building if both don't work

have you put the batteries on charge first

    Mog,
how soon do you need a light for?

Email troutie as he has a few lights that he may be able to offer or help you out with

If not for the budget and speed maybe this halogen light
I could help out with a Li-Ion battery (bottle type) 15V 5.4Ah and charger for £75 inc p&p

is the pilot light still alight? re-light it and it should be ok… put the hot water tap on for about half a min , then hold the restart button down for about 20 secs after the pilot light kicks in and it should stay on.. works for me :-)

and don't forget to put the inner spacer rod thingy in before you tap the 2nd bearing back on ;-)

Just put it into perspective how much you are paying for a ‘Light, Battery & Charger’
I can’t compete with their prices either, but then again I only use high quality Li-ion cells, circuits and chargers

Besides, I now never night ride with just a single light.. good tip, put it down to experience and a tree :-T

That Pyrton descent was a great way to end a ride :-)… mind you, held back a little on the corners for the possible walkers!
The dusty descent mid morning.. gotta go back to do that earlier in the day… Or get a petepoddy bell ;-)

    I think he’s charging £10 +p&p
    Dave, do you still have the Exposure light? as I can replace the battery inside if you want it repairing. (that’s if it is the battery thats at fault}

You should get a job in freelance MrT. If I bought one of those lights the first thing I’d do is post it to you for modding, would hate to be blasting down some singletrack and have it overheat on me.

    Battery wise I’ve got a few 2.6 and 5.2 Ah Li-Ion in either 15V or 7.5V only. Oh, also a 15V 5.4AH.

I thought of that as well stuart, BUT when i came off a few months ago there wasn’t much left of my helmet. I’m glad there wasnt anything else other than the ‘helmet’ on my head. I wouldnt of fancied the light or battery impregnated into my head. Plus it would weaken the helmet having them inbuilt

Also, they will be high quality 2.6Ah Li-Ion cells inside.

The only real way I could see him competing price wise would be for him to have them made in bulk in the Far East, But he’s a pretty patriotic guy and like to keep things British 8)
