You can get lock on 2.5mm dc connectors. Also remember to tell troutie if you will be using a lumicycle battery as the polarity will be reversed to his standard light

Troutie has only put the XPE's in for testing. The XPG's aren't out yet  not long now though

Nice job done their Swift. good idea with the innertube over the battery.
As for the lumens war, so long as you go out biking I really dont think it matters what lumen power you have.

Unless you know what you are doing jonk please dont go there.
I'm sure like others have said if you ring HopeTech up direct they can sort it out for you.

And yes the protection circuit should protect against under-discharge, Over-charge and also short circuit protection. One of the main reasons about leaving the battery approx 40-50% charged for long periods is because the protection circuit continues to drain the battery even when not in use. Although this is only a few milliamps this can build up over time and will continue to 0V if left for long periods. Also Li-ion cells dont like being left 100% for long periods either.

let us know hoe you get on anyway Jonk.

warm it up gently with a hairdryer to get the tape tacky again?.
OR is there anything you can dab a bit of superglue to (small plastic rod) to bond onto the bottom ( not too much to smear across the whole cell and case) and then pull out

A nicely built 2.6Ah Li-Ion battery is just the right compliment for about a 2 1/2hr light time.

At the moment in talks, but it will either be 2.4 or the higher rated 2.6Ah. but bear in mind I only deal with high quality cells, I have my reputation you know. and also 2 cell chargers to go with them.
But please don't email me just yet as I will let you all know in due time and keep you updated as I go along

Just to keep you all updated, I shall shortly be able to supply Li-Ion cells with the protection circuit inside and also twin cell chargers for use with them. So they will be ideal for the lights most of you are using at the moment 8)

The Navigon 3300 Max Sat Nav looks pretty good and has good reviews £120 from halfrods
It also shows roads not as lines, but realistically, with asphalt and road markings.
Wouldnt mind hearing from anyones who'se got one of these

    I'd like a 1,000 lumen+ helmet light with high/low light power.
A built in battery for an approx 2-3 hr bike ride on max.
The back of the light would have a connector that would allow charging through and more importingly an additional battery could be plugged into it that would just have a long lead from you're camelback.

Oh, also maybe a couple of small or one red led on the back of the light.

Its a bit of a killer when you have one of youre fantasy players playing against you're own team though.

It was a lucky weekend, well thats my take on everyone above me! not a single draw in the prem last saturday and Arsenal banging all those goals against Everton. Then you have manure resting half their team, more games tomorrow night

its great not knowing each others team till the deadline, i reckon it will be the cheapo players that make or break the points though. I was going to sign delph the new villa player but mega expensive for a part player.
