I think that’s why it’s got a saw tooth pattern on the edge – should stop it spinning with the tyre.

Or it could be temporary file issue, one of ours wouldn’t update last week until I specified a new temp directory in wp-config

Plenty of cable disc braked road bikes available for that money especially if you go for ex-display or last year’s model.

If you need a 54cm try this

A Dacia warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on – my Duster has been rusting from the inside out from Day 1 and all they’ve done is paint over the top and fill the cavities full of waxoyl to get it the end of the warranty when they will wash their hands of it.

Absolute shower.

Or they are seconds, sometimes the anodising isn’t quite up to scratch, I paid £50 for my seconds and you can barely tell they are slightly paler than they should be…..

Make sure to include Salterforth drag, it’s a beauty

None of you lot sound slow – I struggle to average in the low teens on local 45 and 50 milers (with around 3000ft climbing) in the Dales.

Did this to an old Muddy fox muddyfox_monstercross[/img]

Needs a longer stem and proper brifters before I would tour on it, anything remotely rocky and it’s quickly out of it’s depth

Hanging bikes vertically from the roof will buy you more space then you think

Pair of theseover some decent lycra bibs …?
I have a pair and they are slim fit on the thigh and don’t bunch or ride up or dig in at the waist.

Wouldn’t be without pockets in my jersey for a road ride – on an MTB I have a camelback so don’t miss them.

Tripped over a molehill playing rounders hand out to brace against the fall – forearm rotated 180 degrees compared to my upper arm and elbow was halfway up the back of my bicep.

Had to call out the pompiers for a trip to the hospital to have it put back and stuck in cast as I’d ripped all of the tendons.

12 months on and it’s still sore :-/

Why limit it to France, how about an overnight in Bruges before heading into the Ardennes?

So given that it’s easy to build a bike below the UCI weight limit and all the riders descend on the top tube now – why not use a dropper post?

The Hope F20 I have seems very well made indeed, nice low profile and hasn’t lost \ny pins yet. Absolutely zero play to boot. They are a bit spendy though

Why not use a 27.2 post and a shim instead?

Had a look at doing this on my Saracen Hack and the clearance at the stays wasn’t there. I could get 40c in at 700 but going down to 650b meant I actually I had less lateral clearance because of where the stays are crimped.

Maybe try tubeless….

You could use a Prezi

I had a couple of 125’s and the reg/rec was a weakpoint. Also the oil pump failed so ended up bodging back to pre-mix.

They’re bloody heavy, the suspension is soft and longish travel, the front disc is quite good, vibration isn’t too bad and they don’t sound like an RD or TZ as they’re tuned for torque rather than revs. The centre stand lug welds are a weak point so if they’re corroded they’ll need welding.

The only one I ever liked the look of was this one

I suspect he spent more than a grand on it though.

Plenty of good resources out there as there’s plenty of other mentalists fans out there EG

The mighty maggot is now becoming very popular with the hipster custom crowd as they make nice brat bikes so good luck finding a reasonable one for a grand.

Even Superdreams fetch silly money now too.

Suzuki GS500E (The twin not the four) might be a shout – find one that hasn’t been dispatched to death or been at a training school though.

A 400/4 for a grand will be a money pit and not really suited to 2 up. If you can bear how it looks there’s always the diversion….

I’ve been impressed by the planet x merino ones for £3. No silicone grippers but even with my total lack of guns they don’t slip down
